Get your friends and acquaintances to hop in your stream for a little boost and also to get feedback. Because unless you’re amazing at video games then you NEED to be entertaining. And even then, the internet is littered with the ghosts of talented streamers who just never made it and you have to understand and be okay with the reality that you will probably not become a streamer. Despite all that I hope you do find success or happiness in streaming or whatever path you decide to take in life. Nothing is given to you; you gotta get out there and fight for what you want to make yours.

Kick just patched the website so any streamer on Kick will be able to completely block the gambling so their viewers don't go over to the gambling just willy nilly. if I was streaming on Twitch, I would seriously consider Kick, but I really don't know about the 95/5 income split it just seems to good to be true. You Tube has a much higher viewership base than either but they're not primed for streaming

For those who don't know, he's already sued twitch. The outcome was a settlement was made and part of the agreement both parties released a statement saying there was no wrong doing. The bathroom thing could have been their “official” reason for the ban, it’s not why they banned him permanently. We’ll never know why, but I agree with most that it had something to do with contracts. It’s incredibly odd they banned him AFTER Mixer shut down. Dude probably signed something BIG, then Mixer shut down, and then Twitch decided to ban him so they don’t have to pay out. Once they needed a reason due to the lawsuit, they said it was the bathroom thing. Considering the year of being on Twitch after the fact, and everything I just said, Dr probably would have won big time. So, they settled.

For potential libel, espescially at the amount of money the two make based almost entirely off of public perception. If one of them says something that is slightly off from the truth and it mars a parties reputation their are financial damages. Also because it’s generally always better, especially so when building a lawsuit, to keep everything as close to the chest as possible. It would be a lot harder to win a game of chess when you tell your opponent your plan and opening moves. Then you get into the weeds a little bit when you consider that if it was a big enough deal to remove him from the platform (I believe he was the biggest at the time?) it’s either for something serious, or they didn’t want to pay him what he was making and they found something, if he missteps and blows the whistle and he is wrong it could prompt the actual reason to be divulged and if it’s some seriously bad stuff it could seriously hurt his image.

For those who don't know, he's already sued twitch. The outcome was a settlement was made and part of the agreement both parties released a statement saying there was no wrong doing. Doc said there was no wrong doing so twitch wasn't affected negatively, and twitch said there was no wrong doing so it'd be easier to get back sponsors and whatnot.
If it's truly no fault then he can stream on twitch too.

The bathroom thing could have been their “official” reason for the ban, it’s not why they banned him permanently. We’ll never know why, but I agree with most that it had something to do with contracts. It’s incredibly odd they banned him AFTER Mixer shut down. Dude probably signed something BIG, then Mixer shut down, and then Twitch decided to ban him so they don’t have to pay out. Once they needed a reason due to the lawsuit, they said it was the bathroom thing. Considering the year of being on Twitch after the fact, and everything I just said, Dr probably would have won big time. So, they settled.

dude got banned on twitch, and immediately shut up about it, and started a lawsuit. Either A, he's got a legit reason, and the suit will play out or they'll settle, or B, he did something super wrong, got caught, and won't say why because it will cause irreparable harm to his image.

For potential libel, espescially at the amount of money the two make based almost entirely off of public perception. If one of them says something that is slightly off from the truth and it mars a parties reputation their are financial damages.
Also because it’s generally always better, especially so when building a lawsuit, to keep everything as close to the chest as possible. It would be a lot harder to win a game of chess when you tell your opponent your plan and opening moves.
Then you get into the weeds a little bit when you consider that if it was a big enough deal to remove him from the platform (I believe he was the biggest at the time?) it’s either for something serious, or they didn’t want to pay him what he was making and they found something, if he missteps and blows the whistle and he is wrong it could prompt the actual reason to be divulged and if it’s some seriously bad stuff it could seriously hurt his image.
