greens, blues, and purples are used for 'black,' because it's easier to see on screen, and also paper. Pure black creates what is called a "Black hole effect," in that it causes all other colors to be absorbed and doesn't look good from an artistic stand point. In art, we're taught to never use PURE BLACK, for that reason, and instead use reaaally dark, cool colors.

The biggest change I can find is the underground cavern encounters. Oras added new megas, a new event that made it a separate timeline. US&M expanded on necrozma, added new forms and story, new z moves, and gave you a mega ring.

To answer who is ash’s dad, we have to eliminate each of the possible solutions one by one. Giovanni is silvers dad and therefore cannot be ash’s dad. We now have 3 options left. Mr mine can’t be ash’s dad since Pokémon can’t breed with humans and as far as we know mr mime could be female. Silver can’t be the father of ash because silver lives in Johto and ash’s mom lives in kanto. By process of elimination we can confirm that Brock is in fact ash’s father. Games are about choices. Restricting player choice can only be justified by developer limitations (time, money, etc) or by demonstrating that the choice bogs down gameplay. I don't buy that anyone capable of playing Pokemon found toggling EXP Share to bog down their gameplay, and obviously it wasn't limited by development issues. It's emblematic of Game Freak's misguided race to make the games playable by literal two year olds, even if it means turning their backs on all other demographics

Fun thing I think is, that a lot are on it with the "Steel should be weak to Electro" debate, but I personally think it makes sense that it's not weak to it, since steel is mostly diverting electricity but not really taking damage from it directly.
But also, I'm not well versed with physics and stuff, it's just what I've learned at school which I apply to this debate. I think we'll really never fully know which one is right and which isn't xD

Yet in the anime all of them have been ash's travel companions throughout their respective series'.
and we know that the anime tweaks characters/plot holes to fit the show.
so although it is canon that Gary and Blue are the SAME person that exists in-game and in the anime, that doesnt necessarily mean that IN THE ANIME, Ash = Red.

Being champion, completing the dex, catching the strongest legendaries, etc, etc.
@Jovi Jroc It's obviously having the power to befriend Legendary and Mythical and then befriending them all like Ash does. Whoever has that power is in theory able to catch them all and complete the Pokédex as well being able to use any Pokémon for battles in Pokémon Leagues. Only then you can become a true Pokémon Master.

A lot of fan games tend to be labors of love rather than products, so they’ve got that advantage. Of course, the more unique they make themselves, the more risk they have of not being as appealing to as wide an audience (I love Reborn but almost none of my friends do due to the harsh difficulty and mature, gritty story), but tend to be MUCH more loved with the crowd it does attract.
Reborn, Insurgence, and Uranium are some of my favorite games of all time. Pokemon optimized in different ways

That was glorious. Also, I believe Meltan/Melmetal are technically their own thing. What I mean is that they aren't part of any generation. Sure, in the Ultra Sun & Moon anime, Ash had a Meltan that evolved into a Melmetal, but remember, the anime is all kinds of wack. Including how Ash pronounces names. Solgaleo and Arceus are just 2 of many that he calls weirdly. Arceus is kinda fine, but Solgaleo (and for anyone who doesn't know, he pronounces it "so-ko-lay-o"), just...no

First of all, I only said that I started in Unova, never what my favorite gen is.
To quote multiple people, “You live your life wrong”. I’m sorry that Pokémon Black and Black 2 were the only Pokémon games I had when I was a child, it’s not like I chose it to be that way.
Gen 5 is great. I’m sure whichever Gen you like the most is great. All the generations have their advantages, and we like whatever ones we like because of what we like in a video game. There is no wrong answer to best generation. Only people who decide that their opinion is right without acknowledging that other people have opinions as well.

It is actually accurate.
Let's look at some basic data about both these types:
Water only conducts electricity when it has ions in it, and so distilled or pure water is a poor conductor.
Metals are very good conductors of electricity.
A device will get damaged by electricity if it does not conduct it, this is because it starts ionising and breaks apart.
Take your hand, for example. If you get an electric shock, you will feel hurt, because your body provides resistance to the current, and hence more heat is produced and your cells get ionised, electrocuting you.
If on the other hand you have a conductor that provides an easier path for current to flow through, then current would easily flow through the metal or the conductor without much resistance.
This is why there is earthing in homes(That tall metal rod) to take the electric current during thunderstorms underground so that we do not get struck by it instead.

Fun Fact: The Pokemon Company officialy listed Arceus' pronouncation as "ar-see-yus" but soon realized that it sounded a lot like "arse" so for the Pokemon movie with Arceus in it, they changed it to "ar-kee-yus". Pretty sure I found this on a Dobbs video
I was going to comment the same thing! I still say ar see us, but I accept it when people say ar kee us because it is also the official pronunciation. But I hate when people get mad at me for saying ar see us, because it was the original correct pronunciation.
