Once flexible enough enough keep repeating the steps over and over until smooth ( also at this point it should begin to flow more smoothly) i have the flow but it doesnβt look right because of my form ( i typically practice hand and arm stuff from Poppinβ John)

If you slide your hands into position, rolling your wrists against each other, it becomes really clear how it works. If you try to feel it, -as opposed to do it- it becomes almost second nature.

A trick that a helped a lot of people get it first try is that the palms of your hand is always facing up!
