Hey Shane! As a former Disney cast member I can confirm and we were all told in training to point with two fingers! We were told that it is because it is considered rude in some cultures to point with one finger. That’s also why flight attendants so the same thing. Your versions definitely more fun tho 😂❤

Hearing Spencer talk about his heart condition was SO comforting. I’m 30 and a few years ago I also got diagnosed with a heart condition and have a device under my skin, similar to a pacemaker, so to hear other people normally living their lives (as most of us do) makes me feel so good! I also feel like it’s important to tell people you date, but to also hope it’s not all they see you as. Loved Spencer already but this makes him so much more special to me! Hope you guys find someone fun for him! ☺️

I’m a cardiac nurse and so crazy to hear Spencer’s story! I rarely see patients under age 50. Especially with a pacemaker. Glad he went in and they discovered it and glad he’s doing well now! Super scary
That's so crazy that Spencer has a pacemaker I would've never thought that! I also have a pacemaker and im 23! I've had a heart condition since I was like 2 months old soo yea I can def relate to him! Wow! 😅 thats wild wishing a good long healthy life for him! 🙂

New mom here! And I’m currently watching while nursing my baby. It’s exactly what Ryland said, this podcast helps me feel like I’m hanging out with friends while I’m home alone taking care of my baby, which can feel very isolating. Thank you for getting me through this huge transition ❤

This podcast really brightened my mood. I was in a bicycle accident on the 12th. I broke my neck and jaw, knocked three teeth loose, and busted my upper lip open. I had a concussion and dont remember whar happened. The past few days have been stressful. Thank you guys for bringing a smile to my face while i recover. Also, i worked for disney world back in 2018. We were taught to do the two finger point but never told why. It was just a rule we followed. I worked back stage so i didn’t have to use it much. I still have my name tag from working there. Again thank you guys for making this day brighter. ❤

In many parts of Southeast Asia, using just one finger to point is considered rude. So we get trained to don’t use one finger to not offend no body. Love you guys

I don’t have the same condition you have but I do have a heart condition where sometimes the bottom half of my heart beats prematurely. I was diagnosed with it just 2 years ago. So thank you for sharing that part of you with us! 🫶🏼😊
What were your symptoms before you found this out? :0 glad you're doing better!
@@kayc5496 feeling like a flutter in my chest and sometimes kind of faint when it did happen. I found out during the summer and I guess the heat and being slightly dehydrated didn’t help as well. I was having the weird fluttering feeling in my chest for an about 4 days. Then one night my heart started racing really fast my heart rate went up to 143 bpm with the premature heart beats so had to call 911. They were able to see on my ekg while at the hospital and diagnosed me with it. Sometimes it happens when I’m either really anxious about something or when I’m really hot weather. Thankfully it’s not life threatening and I don’t need anything to manage it because it is so random and doesn’t happen that often.

I’m a mother to a very almost 14 year old daughter, and I’m her full time carer as she has half a heart, so I spend a lot of time at home alone when she is at school as I’m “on call” if you will, and I love watching your podcast then because I can get on with things around the home but it doesn’t feel so painfully quiet haha!
(My daughter has many scars on her chest from 4 open heart surgeries and 8 cardiac catheters, so it was nice to hear about Spencer’s story)
My twins will be turning 3 on April Fool’s 🥺😭 They grow up so fast as I’m sure y’all have caught on far too soon with your baby boys. I just wanted to chime in and say from one twin parent to others- y’all are doing a fabulous job. We don’t need to see it to know and I just wanted to give y’all some recognition because it is HARD. It gets easier, which I wish someone had told me at that earlier age. ❤ Especially now that you said they are coming into their own personalities- makes for the best moments! I wanted to thank you for being there since your beginning days when I was younger in my darkest times as a teen, and now as a stay at home mom of twins who at most times feels isolated and alone. Y’all bring so much light and laughter to many. 🫶

I know how you feel. 💔 I was extremely close with my grandparents and they have all passed away. In the past few years I had to bury three of my closest friends, my Eddie Bear (my little cream Frenchie girl), as well as my last living Grandma and some of my fiancé’s best friends. It takes time to heal from those loses, I get it. But I do hope that you find the strength and courage that you need to get your ED under control again. 🙏🏽 My condolences to your family and you about the loss of your grandma. From the perspective of one of the many mommies that watch the show, I started watching when I was 9yrs old in 2009(I know I shouldn't have been but now I'm glad I did.) I'm 23 now with a 5 year old daughter and everything is coming full circle watching you go through life, find love, build a family, go through hell and thrive... All while I went through the same things. Thank you Shane. As well as Ryland, your mom, Jerid, Chris, and everyone thats a part of your life. Thank you for being a safe place for me and so many others even if you don't realize it. ❤
Wow, as a 38 year old, your story makes me feel ancient! 😂💀 I too have been watching Shane since he started his YT channel and then of course watched Ryland’s journey along with the journeys of Shane’s family members and friends. Cherish every moment that you are able to spend with your precious daughter. I have been trying to start a family of my own for years to no avail.
