As a native Chicago Bulls fan looking from afar, I'm disappointed in the Nets so far. I was really hoping that KD, Kyrie, and Ben Simmons would be a DOMINANT trio. Ben Simmons is a depreciating asset and not worth the money he’s being paid anymore. Think it would be best if he goes to a team with no expectations where he can somehow get back to himself.

The Nets should send Ben Simmons to the G League for an extended time to try to save his career. There he will be out of the spotlight and get high reps on shots. Hopefully he can regain some basketball value

Even though Russell Westbrook is erratic and sloppy with the ball, I rather have him over Ben Simmons. At least Westbrook will shoot no matter what anyone tells him. You can't question his passion and desire for the game. He plays hard. Ben Simmons gets hurt when no one has guard him for a year and this year he doesn't even look close to himself. I think he is the most overpaid player and the worse contract in the NBA. I though Russell Westbrook had the worse contract but at least he plays hard and won't hesitate to shoot.

I'm not convinced when there are pre-season videos of Ben shooting 3s in the gym, dude has not improved his weaknesses unlike Giannis so far

I have a suggestion. The NBA has a "penal team" consisting of talented (of varied degree) players who cannot fit in the standard NBA teams. Previously, we had the Portland Jailblazers. We'll call them the St:Louis Penal Team. Players like Simmons, Harden, Kyrie Irving etc. It would be fun to see them compete against the other teams. Will undisciplined talent win against disciplined, but less talented teams?

I don't believe Ben loves the game, anymore. I believe that one response from Doc Rivers, which was NOT a bad or disrespectful answer, when asked can you win wit Ben as your point and he said, "yeah Dave, I don't know the answer to that question." That was not disrespectful, AT ALL!! Doc Rivers answer was reflecting on what he was "seeing" from Ben, and I'm not just talking about against the Hawks but remember, people was asking Doc throughout the season about sitting Ben down in the 4th due to him shying away from the ball and Doc relentlessly stood up for Ben, even tho he knew he should've benched Ben but he tried to take up for Ben but his play vs the Hawks, Doc couldn't hold it in, anymore and that was the last straw. Doc said that "it's a lot of work that Ben has to do," which was true and what happens in the weeks to come? Ben Simmons announces that he wants to be traded. SmMFh. Ben Simmons said he wants to be traded for one reason: his feelings was hurt. Ben Simmons is a very fragile, weak minded basketball player who does not want to REALLY put the work in to improve his game. Ben Simmons is a lost cause and after this season or before it's over wit the Nets will try to trade him but they won't be able to. There's NO TEAM in the NBA that sees the way Ben Simmons is playing and believes that he can be better. Ben Simmons is sorry af.

When Ben Simmons played for the 76er’s he built a beautiful home in South Jersey, just outside of Philly. I know a guy who worked for the architectural firm who built his house. He spared no expense. Everything custom, built on a 5 acre lot. He mentioned to me the oddest thing he’d ever seen from an NBA player building a house from scratch. “Ben didn’t want a court. All NBA players want a custom court in their homes so they can play uninterrupted games for hours with teammates and close friends. Ben had no interest in building a basketball court, or so much as a hoop at his home.”

i wrote him off after the playoff loss in philly . but after listening to reports that he still in alot of pain and could easily explain his not leaping abilities near the rim . i just assume it was ALL mental and did not think he would be able to recover from it .Then i hear from others with back problems say once it starts you'll never really not feel pain . with all that said i still predict he will finish his career overseas , but i feel much worst about saying it . i am curious to see if we will see some spurts of what could be
