I think that was just a lame excuse.Korean women have a tendency to not go for the only son of a family as they are ussually spoilt and very precious to their parents.And it is most likely the women will have to move in to the in laws house and carry on duties as the only daughter in law which is quite a heavy burden and can be mentaly and physical straining if the husband does not help out

It’s more the mentality of people who are only children and how you can relate to them. I grew up in a big family and love it it’s a factor of my life that I’d like my partner to be able to relate because it could also be a factor in their views to having children in the futur
