@@laurajane1997 they're called Vera mona colour switch. They're like a rough sponge you use to clean off a brush in between colours. It collects the excess in the bottom. I think Tati has spoken about it before but I defo need one!
I'm suddenly thinking: "Where has this video been all of Tati's channel's existence??" π Having a student ask questions and react to the instructions during the filming really takes the turorial concept to the next level!

Have to say that Tati Beautyβs palette is one of the most long lasting formulas I have ever experienced. Honestly the glitter lasted for 12 hours for me which included a lot of dancing and even a 1 hour nap.

Can I ask how you don't get glitter on your face? No one mentions this but Everytime I use the glitters, I get it all over my face.
Angie Alegria i only use the glitters with a medium, like glitter glue. I use glitter glue with any glitters. It's the only way not to get it everywhere.

This is seriously the perfect type of tutorial. It's easy to show people how you do your own makeup every day, but to do it side by side with someone who isn't as experienced and has different likes and dislikes is super helpful.

She uses a lot of scott barnes brushes, a kylie one for the cream blush, she also uses smashbox brushes (the ones with the red habdle) and she uses a kevyn aucoin for the lower lashline sometimes, so overall the brushes that she uses are really expensive ones, you can get some good ones at morphe
I have seen her use real techniques quite a few times -if you looking for some cheaper options

First off, I LOVE this type of content from Tati. Having two different makeup skill levels side by side really gives you the opportunity to see what you might be doing wrong and how it should be corrected to get a flawless finish. The whole side by side makeup pro and makeup apprentice, (because Erika is nowhere near novice, imho,) just helps me see things so much better.
Second: I NEED to see Erikaβs faves and fails bin and her reviews on said products. I mean, NEED TO SEE!
Third: Can we just talk about how both Tati and Erika look like Aphrodite just hand carved their faces? π

I love these talk-through type of videos. Itβs so beneficial to me in building my makeup skills. Iβve learned so much from Tati and her techniques. Sheβs one of the only beauty gurus on KRplus who seems to really care about how makeup changes the face rather than copy and pasted Instagram contour and such, which I think is pretty freakin awesome.

Iβm a professional and feel I even needed this just cause itβs easy to do someone elseβs makeup sometimes but I love doing super colorful dramatic looks on myself and every time I say Iβm going to do a natural look it always turns into full glam π
This was in-depth to the extreme! I felt like I was in Tati's head the way she described the brush angle, the pressure applied, the time spent blending, buffing, swooshing, etc. I also appreciated Erica's input and perspective when applying the techniques. Thank you beautiful sisters!
I recall a recent Erica\Tati video when Erica did Tati's eyes using her palette where she too used the "technique" (if you can call it that, more like a change in the order of steps) of approaching the eyes first, like many artists do, so as not to worry about going out of the lines because you can easily clean it up. So that was not new to Erica, rather she had that intuition even prior to this.
Anyway...again...LOVED THIS!
