- This descent ended up being more challenging than we were expecting with a less than ideal tarmac suface. One of those ones that is good enough to go fast on, but not particularily safe to do so. There were a lot of shallow bumps and corrugations in the upper half that are hard to see but made themselves felt, more so with the Tailfin packs loaded up.
With that said the actul layout of the road was fantastic with great camber and some lovely flow through the trees. A long descent but as I say towards the end of the film, it goes by fast.

Hi. I love all of the videos and this channel inspired me to take my bike on a trip to Europe. I'm actually going at the beginning of March on a short trial trip. I'm taking the Eurostar train from London to Brussels. What will the weather be like and what direction should I head in?
Also, why Brussels? Because it's the only route the Eurostar train allows a bike without needing to dismantle it and put it in a box.
Any suggestions from anyone are most welcome!
hello, I believe the temperature will be around 12°C and the weather will be quite incertain. If you are lucky it will be sunny ! I can't help you about the routes you could try, I'm from France. Have a nice trip.

Hi, I wonder how often the brake pads are changed during these high-tempo descents? Is there a special reel model you use?
We use the organic Shimano pads, nothing special. And I probably change pads two or three times a year at most.
