    A new VR video!
    What a great subject, too. The Apollo was awesome- ahead of it's time, certainly ahead of tire technology. A big-ass Ducati cruiser/police bike is still a cool idea, and now that they have a V4, a modern day Apollo would be righteous.
    I was fortunate enough to be about 20 feet way from a DesmosedicI RR when the engine was started up. Holy sh*t.
    It was the loudest engine I've ever heard on a public road. It shook the ground.
    I'm a bit surprised that more motorcycle manufacturers haven't embraced the V4 configuration.

      Aprilia has their V4, Honda are known for their V4s (though for a sportbike it would cost bit more than the CBR), Yamaha has the V-max since the 80s... It's a bit expensive but other manufacturers know how to build these engines

      @VisioRacer  11 개월 전 +1

      To be clear - the Panigale engine is a desmodromic valve layout, however, not the Multistrada and Diavel engine. The Yamaha cross-plane has a different timing and is more similar to the Aprilia V4 (not exactly, because that's a 65° V-4, but with a 90° V-4, it would be practically identical and hence the sound is very close). This Wikipedia article is very helpful with understanding the different firing orders of these and many other engines.

    Still a 800RPM Difference , of course Ductai
    Should win !!! And now they give a

    Bolted 120 points in front ) next
    Year give the bikes same Rev Ranges
    And Kawasaki finger arms rockers,
