I visited a castle in Germany recently and there is a back room with a lot of spooky old objects with descriptions of the scary stories attached to them. In the back of this area, there is stuff associated with demons, and I kid you not, there is a very odd and highly audible fly infestation in the back of the room near the window. The staff said that they can't get rid of it. #2 on this list immediately reminded me of it.

Fearing God is different. It's more of how you may fear a parent, you respect them and there authority, but if it is a good relationship you love eachother as well. It's not really your normal idea of fear.

Back when I was a little, little kid, you couldn't find a store open on a Sunday. Going from the middle to late sixties backward, offices and businesses simply were not open on a Sunday. You would need to plan to buy all of the food you'd need for Sunday earlier in the week. I suppose Aquiel had a hand in relaxing those rules, but it a way it was nice not having any place to go on a Sunday and you could just relax with family.

Demons were labeled evil by the Christian church.
They are not evil, more misunderstood.
Treat them with respect as most if not all do not wish to see your ruin.
Lucifer has been slandered, he is kind and loving. He wishes nothing but you to accept your free will, seek knowledge and love.
It's dangerous to be dismissive or cavalier about people being demonized. Also, if they're told to leave, they come back to see if they house has been cleaned (& inhabited by the Holy Spirit) & if not, they bring back 7 more dangerous friends, not to be taken lightly.

Honestly, The Exorcist by William Peter Blatty is one of, if not my very favourite, piece of American literature. I recently got Legion (which is only available online - really hard to find in bookstores), which was published in 1983. Obviously the books are much better - you spend a lot more time with the demon talking to the priest, which is very interesting. The book Legion was made into the sequel - which is the proper sequel - but it's not The Exorcist part 2, it's the Exorcist part 3 that was written, directed and produced by William Peter Blatty and the movie - with George C Scott and Brad Dourif, both giving Oscar-worthy performances - is the most under-rated movies I've known.
I think the story is far more interesting than The Exorcist (the movie, this time, as I've not read Legion yet) - it's switched from straight-up horror to more of a supernatural-psychological horror/thriller.

@@aliddda328 that's right, it was a Mesopotamian demon, of a Westernly Wind (zephyr) I believe, if I remember correctly who people prayed to to protect them from another demon. The little Pazuzu head Fr Merrin find at the start is off one of those trinkets.
You might like the book. Some of the creepiest stuff in it was, to me, when Lt Kinderman is researching black mass, and the descriptions of what people do at them (and the significance the way the director was murdered has, though you probably know that one).

The reason there are not reports of lucifer (satan) possessing people is because he's the only one that God does not give the power to possess people. All the other demons are able to possess you though. I guess you could say, Satan isn't a "demon" because he's the devil himself
His goal was to disrupt the relationship between mankind and God but while 'demons' would try to destroy them. Which is why Satan means Accuser for a reason. He accuses and tempts mankind's loyalty towards God. Which supports this in the Book of Job and the story of Jesus in the Desert.

I had a dream one time I was in an old European castle or Manson.
I wasn't really sure what I was doing there.
Alls I knows is I was carrying a incapacitated teammate to safety.
I stopped in a hallway to see if can do something to contend with the demonic nun closing in fast.
I looked it in the face an remember pretty well, it had dark gray skin.
Some patches covering it's face were darker, almost black, they kinda looked like varying degrees of bruising.
The eyes glowed amber colored, the whites lighter, the irises were darker.
It's mouth, the teeth were white, the saliva was black, the gaps in between teeth stained black too.
An it had a strong dark mist like aura that shimmered an evaporated around it.
Before I could do anything to it, I was looking at my body from a third person perspective.
It looked like my body was being possessed.
I remember getting mad an was like "oh heck NAH! Frick that!" an everything went black.
Then as a reflex I didn't expect, I shouted out "Piercing Sword of Light!" an imagined myself running it through the demon.
Then a dot of light appeared in the darkness, the light got bigger till it completely engulfed the darkness an whited out the space it tried to put me in.
I woke IRL with full body tingles I had never experienced prior nor after.
Then went back to sleep not too long after.

My parents have a house that's seems evil I know it. Saw something aged 11. Scared me to death. Unfortunately strange things kept happening. One day the house was locked and a loud banging came from inside the house from the room I'd seen it. My friend heard it. We were feeding the dogs and we had to dash in and out. Scared my friend and I even my late brother. So can't be crazy. All cats and dogs screech all night and lights keep going out. Frightening sounds. People and pets die. Events keep happening at the house so I have to keep going back and I really don't want to. Its Horrible. I'm trying to contact a priest. I wish someone would bulldoze it. Story time
So a long time ago, (around 2013), I was getting ready to go sleep. The room was dark, and my door was open.
But, suddenly my door closed, and I looked at my front. It was a dark grey figure. I can't remember what it looked like exactly, but it was kinda pixelated. I stared at it and all of a sudden, it struck me. The pain had a large sensation, it felt like driving large nails into your back . I cried asking someone to help me (I wasn't God's child then) and it said to me "Shut up. Nobody can hear you" and the pain prolonged. But for some reason, it left. Just like that. Me, being naive, thought it was a show and it was scripted. I never actually thought of it after then until now.
