My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. The book " Polyglot Notes" became a desk book for my brother, because it has answers to all the problems that any student of a foreign language has to face. Thanks to the author of the channel for this interesting video! Good luck to everyone who studies a foreign language and wants to realize their full potential!

    Fun fact:
In Spain we have an expression: To become Swedish.
for example if they ask you something about what you have information but you don't want to give it and you say "i don't know" and the other person knows that you are lying, they will tell you "don't play Swedish"
Know undestand why "Jag vet inte"
We use too when one person are or pretend be confused and the other one think that the other is lying: Don't be/play Swedish haha
Tack for teaching Swedish in such an easy way, I hope to visit your wonderful country soon.

Each time I went to Åland Island...I hired a Swedish Foreign Exchange student...twice a week for the whole year before I went. I used very basic phrases. Most everybody appreciated my effort. I provided lots of laughs to my cousins. Who the heck taught you Swedish???😅😄😆

I just found your channel after wanting to learn some more Swedish and I love it! I do have a translation question though! How do you say “how do you say - in Swedish?” When I learn any new language I love to learn this phrase so I am always ready to learn something new :)

I am glad you love our channel! :) That is a great question and I agree that it is super useful to know that in any language. In Swedish we say "Hur säger man"? (How do you say?). The literal translation would be "How say's man"?
