It was the second serve. It happened 2 times in a row. After the second time getting hit, he was taken to the nearest hospital to get checked for a concussion. I was there that day sitting 4 rows up behind the umpires chair. It was a scary moment and luckily he was released from the hospital later that day.

Playing doubles with my mate (both pretty great at it, not hand slam level tho) and his ass does a mega serve (what we call him putting as much power as he can without aiming for anything so it nearly always goes out) and boom, back of the head. Knocked for about 10 seconds before going to hospital 😂😂. It’s okay tho cos I got a day off school the next day.

There are some cases in this video where players played a drop shot in response to a drop shot. If you do that, you really ask for being shot. What do they expext from their opponents? It's such a hard angle to play around them and they know that. In a competitive situation I'd smash at them ANY time.
