It's almost infuriating listening to his logic.

The potato and corn lunch is a thing from old japanese feudal period , where people had a hard time getting even basic things like corn and potato , potatoes itself was a great treat you can see that in some movies where they mush the potato and mix with the rice…
that's may be all true, I have no idea. But I just commented to say that is NOT what lunches these days look like. It is not an accurate lunch in Japanese schools.@@JJOOKER

the fact that on the board it says “i will not hit chase with a dart”
Nonononono that is not pannukakku, that is a Finnish crepe called lettu. Pannukakku is made in the oven, even though pannukakku would translate to pancake if you were to just straight up translate it. It's confusing, but yeah that is not a Finnish pancake because those are made in the oven and they are thick, just like american pancakes. Pannukakku is made in an oven tray rather than a pan. You were right about us having pannukakku with that soup, but unfortunately that is not a pannukakku. Hernekeitto and pannukakku is a classic combo here that is also served every thursday in the Finnish military.
I used to live in a place that had a Finnish restaurant and my god Lettu are delicious (pretty much the only thing I would order) and those fill you up.
Also there should be ryebread, raw onions and mustard
That's not even close to hernekeitto. It looked a lot more like vegetable puree soup. Also, they served berries with the crepe rather than jam. This video was all over the place and somehow none of it was on point.
I was looking for this exact comment
I went on Erasmus in Tampere (Finland). And it didn't look like anything we had at lunch. The soup is green but not as thin like that.
Also indeed pannukakku was delicious with jam!

@@cheesebakedrice2993 thats not a crepe
are we just gonna glance over the fact that Link called peas and carrots, “peas and corn”?
the spanish lunch was actually pretty accurate.
While pea soup is a very common (once every week or two) thing to eat at Finnish schools, the dessert that's usually paired with it is a kind of a pancake with jam on top. Crepes are also a Finnish favorite, but they aren't that viable for mass production.
Which finnish school serve dessert? Never heard of that.
@@jardenzky7774 Pea soup and pancakes is a classic combination that is almost always served together not only at school but also in the military, at home and even in many restaurants.
Desserts themselves depend on who makes the school food. Ofentimes there is none, but things like fruit or kissel are often served when there's porridge or soup on the menu.
@@astorvialaw4980 I know these things, i'm finnish lmao. But never heard of pancakes being served at finnish schools with the pea soup. Always just connected it with the military.

In a lot of schools in a japan, the students help prepare their own meals and help serve the meal as well. They are usually extremely well balanced and healthy.
I love you guys, and I had been waiting for Spain to be featured in one of this... But... That's not Spanish AT ALL. Like... What is that sausage with eggs? Never NEVER had it in my life while I was at school. And that watery chickpeas are not a guiso de garbanzos... Looks more British than Spanish to be honest. A guiso would have other stuff in it too, like spinach, pork, beef, blood sausage or chorizo, potatoes, carrots... and definitely wouldn't be a watery tomato sauce. Please do better research... 😭🙏🏻
Several other Spanish people have said it was accurate so maybe you don’t speak for a whole country
@@situationmoments1598 neither do the few that said it was accurate?
That’s nothing like a British lunch - think you also need to research!
American school lunch: a piece of cardboard with a smear of tomato sauce and "cheese", a red delicious apple specifically, and a small carton of 2% chocolate milk.
Ig I must be lucky but at my school they have papa Johns delivered every day as a lunch option they also have a pretty good chicken sandwich and a decent cheesesteak as well

Smörgåsbord is actually a swedish word and it means ”sandwich table”
Was looking for this in the comments cause im icelandic and i was like naah thats Sweedish
And by sheer coincidence, a "S'more" is a popular treat in North America featuring marshmallow and chocolate sandwiched between 2 graham crackers. Despite sounding similar and both being related to sandwiches in some way, the two words are completely unrelated.
Swedish and Danish are a good example of "Seperated by a Common Language", since it means buttered goose in Danish. Smørgås.
@@TheDanishGuyReviews To be fair, that's the literal meaning of the word "smörgås" in swedish too. I guess it's just more common to eat a sandwich rather than butter a goose.

yeah i'm from France and the french school lunch is totally inaccurate.
Rhett is so smart man, he is always close if not accurate to the answer. the analyzing skills is so on point im astonished
Im e-learning and watching this during my lunch period to remind me of school :,)
Can we appreciate the thematic nuances on the dart board/map? the scribbles and math formulas, "I will not hit chase with a dart" made me wheeze
The ‘fermented pudding’ made my day 🤣
It was the funniest part, but they spoiled it at the start...
Ive been binge watching these international taste tests all day and ive only seen Link win like 3 times
I love the lines at the bottom of the map. I’d need them as a constant reminder, too. OMG, I think I’m becoming Link!!!!!!
I love the “where in the world” episodes. Watching them throw darts is just so entertaining
I swear Rhett has to explain his theory of "unfamiliar weird things come from the east" EVERY SINGLE EPISODE
Beint you are a legend 🤣 love the fox photo too!
