Winning team moves on to the next round, and losing team members have a chance to be eliminated. I love Soojin esp when she sings R&B and Country, but I cant help but wonder how epic this performance wouldve been with a rock vocal.
True her voice is awesome but its like I felt she should of screamed the wordssss

I love Soojin's voice and Soojin's voice is made for R&B but I'm still not convinced she belongs in a rock band. She was excellent with country though 🤔

They fit together so well, honestly, I think her voice suited this well, it offers a really different dimension than if it was a rock vocal... What I mostly like is the fact that each member of the team could shine and it wasn't too much axed on the vocalist.
Lots of comments trying to say that the vocal is lacking, but I love the fact that actually Moon Sujin's voice resembles EXO's original type of vocal so much! (sorry, I came to know the original song after this performance :))
That is why the jazzy type at the beginning highlighted her voice (and sorry to say, but only she could pull it off. and the rap part... Gosh!!! she's really a rapper!).
And the rock genre at the reff highlighted other band members. Overall, I love this performance! :)
God, the drummer is INSANE here. While I do love this arrangement, and I love Moon, I don’t think her voice fits how GRITTY this song gets.
My favorite, though, is everyone else’s reactions while they watch off to the side. It’s just so fun seeing them support one another and hype each other up despite it being a competition. It makes it more fun for us as viewers too 🥰
her voice doesnt fit, yet it compliments the song shes singing, if u heard growl by exo before you'd think she is complimenting the song by her powerful voice
One thing thats great about this show (amongst thousands of others) it's how amazingly and creatively they change and rearrange each song. oh hell yes i love me some rock n roll exo vibes!

I think her voice is fine in this song, texture and genre wise (the original version was sung in a very groovy way so maybe I'm used to that hence think her r&b vocal suits this remake and am not thinking objectively but yea), but one issue that stood out to me is her volume, like her voice gets drowned in the instrumental and we don't hear her clearly especially during the climax. I don't think this is her fault yk, they arranged this together and they should make the arrangement suit her range and all.

Just that the texture of the vocalist quite thin for the arrangement, and abit too much of instrumental(which was really good arrangement) , is like the band featuring the vocalist more for me
(Maybe the starting should be start with R&B 1st , then slowly build up , then would more showcase the vocalist more , just a suggestion ya)

That was super cool, what a crazy perf !!! Moon Sujin’s vocals were fantastic on this one, so much stability in them… The concept and sound were sick too !!! The drummer was incredibly impressive and fast on the drums, and i loved how the energy just kept building until Valo's electric guitar came through near the end !!! So freakin' awesome !!!

@@kpopkdrama4720 The drummer is Jeon Sungbae and the bassist is Hwang Inkyu ! Btw, both of them are part of KARDI, a band that was formed during the last rounds of the show. They ranked 3rd in the finals and are still active as a rock band today with fellow members Park Dawool, Kim Yeji and Hwang Leen.

i think this was okay to be considered soft rock but this definitely isnt the vocalists best performance vocally. props to her to exploring more ways of music with her voice but idt rock which is what i sense from the instrumentals suits her.
