- If you own The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the Expansion Pass grants access to three new treasure chests, DLC Pack 1, “Master Trials,” and DLC Pack 2, “The Champions’ Ballad,” as they are released. DLC Pack 1 “Master Trials” includes: Trial of the Sword, Master Mode, Hero’s Path, Travel Medallion, Korok Mask and eight new armors. Master Trials - DLC Pack 1 will be available June 30, 2017.

When you have to choose between having money or having another eventide island
eventide + new hard mode with new enemies will take my $20 any day of the week
Kevin Pham except WORSE, although since my stamina and health is at the max( got all Spirit Orbs and Divine Beasts containers) and the abilities of the champions, I expect for the Trial of the Sword to be easier than how most people would have difficulty with it
I actually think BotW is pretty easy once you get the hang of its mechanics
I hope it's harder than Eventide island.
Eventide wasn't even hard, I just used my runes to do everything.
I stunlocked the hinox by hitting it with a metal box using magnesis and cleared the last enemy camp using bombs and magnesis.
Looks like Trial of the Sword will be Eventide Island on steroids.

I hope they take away your divine beast powers in this one, maybe even update eventide too. (mostly the camel power, it made the hinox on eventide a joke.)

If you learn how to fight a lynel, fighting a red or silver one is basically the same except them having more health and dealing more damage. I hope the gold lynel is capable of more than just carrying another 1000hp on its life bar
Fe Triforce Silver Lynal* and there easy, just parry all of there attacks.
I hope the gold tier of enemies is similar to the bump from blue to white where some enemies used new attacks and less like white to silver where it was just hp and damage boosts

I got saved by it once. I was in one of those skull bases after killing the bokoblins in it. I decided to sit by the fire and then the blood moon happened. I had no food so I am honeslty glad I decided to wear it.

I would buy this pass just to solely relive the experience of pulling the master sword from the stone one more time... one of my favourite parts of the whole game.

Anialem I was personally a fan of the whole 13 heart requirement, made me feel like I had earned it rather than just getting it through linear progression in the previous titles.
Mr Martin, exactly. It had more of a weight to it then just progressing through the story to get it. And watching his health being sucked away made me realize how much power is behind the sword itself. It makes players feel like they truly earned the sword

It's not that hard if you know how to parry and flurry rush each of his attacks, I can do it after around 200h on the game

When I saw the Hylian shield deflect that Lynel hit, it made me feel pain inside
Link can parry a lynel charge that's equivalent to the weight of a blue whale with a 500 pound shield and keeps his arm

Just use stasis on them and be good at dodging the easier attacks. It gets easy once you figure out their attack pattern and get used to it.

I think doing that would be a bad idea. Traditionally in RPG's, the moment you have the power of flight outside of temporary shiz (Revali's gale), the game loses its' "massiveness" that makes it such a good game.

Alph I don't think it's just the lynel. I think every enemy will have a golden variant.
Adrian Chapa Good that's what I'm hoping, but Lynels are definitely my top priority to cheese with. The new Lynel weapons will have glorious power too.
Alph actually not only that. But all enemies grow one level higher, example: Red bokoblins are now Blue and Blue are now black Etc. Plus enemies can heal.

My only question is, is the champions ballad a prequel about them or resurrecting them? You were going to inspect the elephant at the end of the game. I like that the story is still the BOTW story, not some random other thing. It's a good way to expand upon the story which many felt lacking in the first place. Also, I don't think it was their plan to have it lacking and release the better parts of the story after, I think if they do expand upon the story, it will be to answer complaints they heard.
