I've always just figured if Shane saw undeniable proof, he'd be scared af, but I also think that seeing Shane of all people genuinely scared would be the moment Ryan would just... evaporate from this plane of existence in terror. Cause lbr, having the skeptical/unafraid buddy is sort of calming in itself, no matter how scared YOU are, so take that away, and it's chaos. It'd make for damn good television, though.

I think Shane is secretly a demon who has been ordered to torture Ryan, who says he doesn't believe in ghost but he really is a demon because he yells at ghosts to freak Ryan out. He also tortures Ryan to go on these unsolved adventures and makes him listen to the hot daga.

I feel like they must’ve introduced themselves as “skeptic vs believer” and knew that one of them wasn’t gonna believe a story like that of her dog getting thrown. Honestly, she probably had sleep paralysis and woke with a jump and her leg moved the dog into the wall. So Shane obviously not believing it upset her because she’s used to suckers eatin up the story

Tbh I know this woman personally and some of the stories are very real (i.e. the window in the attic that people have jumped out of or almost jumped out of) but I'm pretty sure the dog story was sleep paralysis. Which sleep paralysis can be brought on by spirits, but yeah. That's my working theory with knowing the family.
Bedhead I think it is sleep paralysis. But maybe this woman didn’t know and thought it was real, and upon telling this story of her dog getting hurt, got her really upset at being laughed at. I don’t know, that would be my reaction though...especially if I thought I saw my dog being lifted and thrown against the wall only to tell somebody and have them laugh at what I thought was my hurt dog...

Apple taters are actually a thing. When I was in Germany I was fed potato pancakes with apple sauce for dipping on multiple occasions. And I think they even put shredded apple in the potato pancakes but it's been too long to remember
