It should worry you that Alabama played this poorly and still managed to stay in the game. I mean the defense pretty much melted down in the 4th quarter and Milroe was awful the entire game; +2 in the turnover margin, busted plays on the backend constantly and you win by 10. You'll need a way better game to beat the Tide this time if they meet again. Good look with Washington. Penix is gonna have a field day with your secondary

I’m a Bama fan, and they are getting harder to watch. They are continuing their play from last year …. SLOPPY. They have all of those top rated recruiting classes and continue to underperform. That’s a coaching issue. Bama was out-coached and out-played against TX. You gotta love Sark. He was brilliant at Bama and is turning TX around. He seems so humble.

Think about how powerful Texas could have been if they had approached NCAA rules the same way as Alabama and Oklahoma. Now they're a major media market team without any professional competition. They're extremely well-positioned to capitalize on NIL.
Look for Rutgers and Syracuse to suddenly skyrocket as well.

As a Texas Alum (2005-2009) it was never the same after Vince Young, but this new and revived team have made some great changes. Both teams had great special teams, Texas’s defensive line was huge in pressuring a really good scrambling QB, and Texas’s offensive line gave Ewers good time to for throw in the pocket. Amazingly tough to play an away game against a consistently strong opponent always in the running for the National Championship game.

Texas is still mediocre. Alabama gave it away two costly penalties that took TD’s off the board. Two horrendous interceptions that were unforced by Milroe. An overthrow by Milroe on a wheel route that Jase Mccellan probably scores on if he puts more air under it. And a bust in the secondary on Texas last TD.
Texas will lose at least two games this season. Alabama did all they could to gift wrap the victory for the Long Horns.
