POV:
You run a casino-fronted black market cartel, holding a chilled martini with one manicured hand and gripping the rail of the balcony with the other. Your eyes settle on a faint yellowish-green blotch across the casino floor, blinking it away momentarily to focus on your enforcers talking to a dealer at a poker table. The group then started walking towards the stairs leading to your office, so you down the rest of the martini and set it down on a glass table next to you.
Walking inside your office, you gaze at a large bush with a multitude of green berries hanging off it’s branches; the symbol of your growing empire.
And your empire does not tolerate thieves.
Your pointed ears twitch at the growing sound of footsteps, then the knock on the door. You sit in a dark green velvet chair behind the desk, adjusting a small golden dagger into it’s correct position on the desk.
“Come in,” you say calmly, your expression cold and firm. The dealer walked in, alone, and closed the door.
“You called for me, y/n?”
“Yes, I did. I wanted to congratulate you for your faithful service to my business.” You lied as you smiled slightly and stood up, walking around the desk and put a firm hand on the thief’s shoulder, feeling a minor rush as the aura changed to a bright, unmistakable red.
The fool smiled and let you guide him to a seat, sitting down and crossing his legs egotistically.
“Why, thank you, y/n. I know I haven’t been with the company long, but I feel like this will be a great start to a wonderful career.”
You smile more, swallowing back a retort and walking over to your prized plant, plucking a couple berries off the branches.
“You know, I received this bush as a gift from the goddess of luck once I started this business. Did you know that?” You walk over and hand the fool a berry. “I only let special people eat from it’s branches.”
“Really?” The thief accepted it, watching your expression closely.
You nod reassuringly and eat your own berry, feeling a warm tingling feeling wash over you as your tiredness faded into the background of your mind momentarily.
Taking this as a positive sign, the fool ate his own berry, smiling. “You know, I didn’t think a business run by a demigod would be this hospitable, but you’re one of the good ones.”
Your expression darkened into anger, but the sound of the fool choking and coughing seconds later was like music to your ears.
“Did you *really* think I would not hear about you stealing chips from your table?!” You shout at his convulsing body. “Or that I would be congratulating you for doing a mediocre job? Let alone not hear your bigotry from across the casino! *NO ONE* steals from me! There’s honor among thieves, and you broke the code!”
The thief fell to the ground, gurgling and grabbing at your skirt desperately, looking up with horror.
You only smile sarcastically and whisper, “May the gods have mercy on your soul.”
The fool slumped down, his grip loosening on your skirt and the light fading from his eyes. You take a couple steps back, smoothing your skirt and clearing your throat.
“Get in here, boys! Get this trash out of my office!”
The two guards from before came inside and set to work stuffing the thief into a large sack.
You go back onto your balcony and overlook your hard work once again.
Some mafias are inherited, handed down through the ranks of a wealthy and spoiled family.
Yours was built from the ground up. It is your child, your baby, your *legacy*, and that makes you even more dangerous…
(I’m sorry if some of this makes no sense, this is more like a first draft for a scene I want to add to my wip. If you have any questions lmk and I’ll answer them to the best of my ability)

Regardless of your appearance, they all know your name and your face. You strike fear in their hearts. People respect me because they want respect from my father, people hate me with a passion, and people love me like Im their idol. I even dress like I’m important, cute & creative but professional & classy. The variety of expressions on their faces as they walked past me, was usual.
My friends were killed by my father’s people for threatening him with a gun, and they were killed in front of me. It was after he came back home days later, high on drugs. He didn’t recognize me when I tried to hug him. He pushed me away with a disgusted look on his face and I walked away wordlessly and heartbroken. There was nothing I could do about it. He was so doped up that he didn’t recognize me, maybe I wasn’t worth recognizing to him- a burden. I told my friends and I cried, one of them- very opinionated, rebellious, and speaks her mind- wanted to defend me. I didn’t know she’d take it that far- I don’t think the other girls did either.
~ But how did he know? No one else was there when she pulled it out. Cameras? ~
We were in the emergency stairway in the hotel. I was scared when I saw the gun- scared that we or she would get shot when other people saw it.
Why wasn’t she hiding it? I mean there was no way she would actually try or even be able to kill him, but I didn’t say anything- I have a habit of that.
When we got to the door of the lobby, one of his people- a woman, opened the door & shot them with a smile on her face. They hardly had time to process what was happening. The woman shot the random people who were running by me on the stairs going to another exit and threatened me by bringing me close to death. I just kept saying “IM KARINA!, IM KARINA!”, tears threatening to escape with my deafening screams, desperately hoping they wouldn’t shoot the boss’s daughter. That my father wouldn’t have ordered it. I was frantic & terrified and that’s what they wanted. It was a warning, they were showing me what they could do.
When she stopped shooting she smiled, waved me over, and said “Karina!” casually, as if we were old friends- mocking my terror. When I got in the lobby I was jumpy, my heart was racing, and I broke down in tears…
This was a dream I had- i could turn soo many of my dreams into books. What do you think?

POV: you just took out your wisdom teeth and even though you can’t feel you bottom lip and chin you are pretending that everything is fine and listening to this playlist.

My eyes scan the room and land on a group of girls hanging all over an exotic looking gentleman with blonde hair complimented with a deep caramel tan, adorned in a dark midnight blue tuxedo with a white pleated dress shirt and bow tie. Despite his broad shoulders, his physiognomy appears slim and lean. My client doesn’t look like he works out every day, yet he’s in a good shape. I cannot figure out what exactly, but there’s something about him that exudes greedy aura around him.
My client Mr. Stefano was outstretched on a polished, classic Victorian-era mid-19th century Chesterfield sofa, with its black leather design and elegant scrolled arms, and deep buttoned back.
I stride to the round table made of glass with a spiral leg, carrying the power with each click of my heels against the ceramic dark and glossy tiles. As I am getting closer to him, he shushes away the ladies and stands up, politely stretching out his arm to greet mine. Stefano's piercing dull blue, almost grey eyes cut through mine.
"Ms. Ombra, rumors are true indeed. You are the most beautiful woman I have ever laid my eyes on." His lips spread slowly in a grin as he shakes my hand, glazing over my body. His eyes are narrowed as if the lights in a bar are too bright.

Being the daughter of a mighty and successful Mafia isnt the life that they expected to be.
Some folks admire me.

Always coming back home drunk and always pushed me aside.
Being force to see my fathers mans kill my friends infront of me , couse i was expressing my emotions and problems to them.
And witnessing a murder of my own mother, the murder was caused by ofcourse my father.
I was young. Young to witnessed so much blood.
Now i was above age to take care of myself. Without a help of thousands of maids.
All those twisted memories keep replaying my head ever since.
And finally i had enough of my fathers doings.
And finally my plans were going as i expected. The guards are in training. The maids having to take care of the kitchen.
My father was in his office, Doing paper works.
I walked in and greet my *father.*

He begans to cough aggressively until he began to cough blood on the table.
I in the other hand was still sipping the cup my eyes closed and a smirk was hidden under the cup.
Then he passed out. An unknown black liquid was pouring out in his nouth.
Then my cup run out of its liquid. A smoke coming out of my mouth.
And looked down on my father.
I knew he was going to do that.
Hes my father.i know him.
I studied him like an object.
-" Fool... seems you forgot about the 'cursed bloodline' and also forgotten that your...own. daughter has it. And also i poisoned both of the cups."- i whispered to him a smoke still coming out of my mouth.
My eyes glowed to ( e/c ) neon that still can glow in the dark.
Allow me demonstrate the ' CURSED BLOODLINE '.
The cursed bloodline was the same as our bloodline..but.
There was a *Hint* of bloodline that was unknown to our DNA. It was really,really.. rare to get in the bloodline. The only relative that got your type of bloodline was your great great grandmother.
This hint of blood made you like a Witch that cannot be burned and a Vampire that csnt be burn.
Seems like The great mighty bloodline itself choosed you as the next queen on your fathers empire...
