The whole cast is just incredible. My favorite character is definitely Denver. He's like an adorable puppy. Strong, loyal, kind, and may not be super bright but he's got a good heart. He would protect his friends to the end. Berlin is a close second - that man is just a charismatic genius that it's hard to hate him.
The actor who played Denver was in Flower of evil as a serial killer. He was insane. He is such a good actor

Denver in this Korean version is my fave character bcs he spoke in North accent(?) makes the character feels fresher and unique. Even Kim Jihoon's actual laugh as contagious as Denver's in Spain version!ππ I already love KJH since I watched him in Flower of Evil

It's actually Busan accent, I think it's Berlin who spoke in North Korean accent although I could be very much wrong.
Did anyone noticed that Kim Ji-hoon's laugh it's the same as Denver's? I mean, of course, but what I'm trying to say it's that he didn't had to fake it, that's his ACTUAL laugh!!! So funny!

So I don't want to mess with your idea, but if you really want to enjoy this series, it's always the best original. The charisma of the actors and actresses and the spanish language are the things that make this series the best. But if you want to continue this series, it's your decision. Enjoy it :)

I was not interested with the original version. But Korean version, YES. I am still not going to watch the original version eventhough I read it was better. Simp for k-drama here.
The original version definitely packed more with emotions and you can definitely feel the tension watching it
Of course, the korean ver did a good job but I can still say that the original version is the best. (coming from a kdrama lover here) in the Spanish ver, you can feel the tension and emotions of the characters more. Especially the narration of Tokyo
The Director definitely had the vision for the robbers even at the very start. Their previous acting work prior to this ALL suit their characters to some extent (Tokyo on her role in The Call, Denver with Flower of Evil, Berlin with Squid Game, etc) like he planned the cast to a tee while knowing and studying their previous acting work. A mastermind if I must say. Everyone was perfect for the role.

To me Tokyo is my favorite character. All she wished was freedom and a normal life. She understood that the unification was part of capitalism and chose to rebel against unjust. She has got morals and that's what makes her charming. That is also the reason she supports Professor.She observes everyone silently and helps them when they are lacking.

Really enjoyed this series. I know it is difficult not to compare it with its Spanish counterpart (which has more novelty and fleshed out), but the Korean cast and its setting made this quite unique on its own.
I really like the North Korea and South Korea thing they did it changes the series from the original in someway and I love how they portray Berlin I like him more in the first season in Korea because you can see people fear him LOL
The Spanish one is juts better scripted and more realistic in acting and drama. But this one is good too

the chemistry between the actors/actress, the acting of the actors/actress, the storyline, the plot twists and the surprises of each episode that always make me curious and excited. the story is very detailed and not boring, not even a minute i miss their conversation in every episode, because it's that good series. As a Money Heist fans I will also watch the Korean version.

Honestly all the cast are amazing. Personally for me I love Rio. The actors did an amazing job playing as the character they were told to play. The story/show itself is amazing.

Money Heist had never interested me until I saw the Korean version. I enjoy watching Kdramas, and I knew that it was already going to be really great! I really liked Rio because of how charming and kind he is. You can already tell what kind of person he is just by looking at him. He has a kind and gentle spirit, but he is also really smart too. I really liked how he was crushing on Tokyo too, he showed her his support which led to their relationship. I really like Lee Hyun-woo as an actor, and I appreciate his work too! Thank you!
Itβs the same thing. In og money heist Rio also crushed Tokyo. Plus Arturo and Monica were in the Korean version also which means that you can expect Denver to fall in love with her. Itβs just predictable because they didnβt change anything, itβs kinda dumb

I like denver because is very nice guy and he has a emotional side for is father and there was a scene where his father stepped out of the bank and sudden denver running behind me and protecting his father from the soldiers which was very nice to see a father and son relationship lovingness. There is one thing I like the most about denver that he doesn't get influenced by people around him.

Definitely, each cast pulls off the character and gave their own flavor to the story. I've watched because I'm a fan of Park Hae Soo since Prison Playbook, yet the story and all the characters are very charming. They create a great synergy. Can't wait for the next episodes to be released!
Kim ji hoon is an amazing actor β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ he deserves an award for his acting in this drama.. Hope to see him soon in a new good drama with lot of romance action comedy suspense..and why not with a foreign actress too.(who can speak Korean of course).

It's not a beauty contest when they mean visuals, they mean character visuals. Misun is just pretty, there's no distinctive "look"

I finished the whole series in one go and had 2 hours to sleep left before going to work. I had no regrets ππ€£π―π it was THAT good.

Personally I didn't see the original, but when I heard about the Korean version I didn't hesitate to watch it. I loved it, I love every single character.
at first, I was worried on how they gonna remake this so that it at least almost as good as the original. But turns out my worries are nothing. They are all amazing and did great on their parts, I feel like I've been introduced to new characters eventhough they are playing same parts. Good job to these actors and actresses.

just finished watching Money Heist JEA. I would say this korean version was so amazing. The cast are still perfect and gave justice to the orig version.
This is one of the most brilliant shows I've seen... very well made.. can't pick a favorite character, they're all bringing the story together wonderfully.. one character though to me was standing out - the North Korean captain- he has such an impressive imposing presence even if he doesn't have as much screen time as others... can't hardly wait for the remaining episodes to be released..

@@jamie150741no, I'm referring to Kim Sung-oh who is playing Captain Cha Moo-hyuk, a former special agent from North Korea who was dispatched to handle the hostage crisis - he is the guy working with Kim Yun-jin who is playing Seon Woo-jin, the lady who is charge of the negotiation team
this is the kdrama with a lot of thrill,tension & excitement,all the actors are great,cant wait for the season 2 ππππππ

I was speechless! I immediately went to this video after I watched the 6 episodes of Money Heist. It was mindblowing and rollercoaster mood. I feel like I was really there with them while watching. It was sooo intense that I pause the video everytime there's a scene that makes my heart beat so fast so I cannot watch continuously, lol. I'm so excited for the Season 2. I cannot wait anymore. Actually, I really like Denver, it's my first time knowing him, and I would like to know him more. Thank you Swoon for this. I love the original show's first season, but the korean version got me so obsessed with it and one of the main reasons is bc the casting delivered everything and then some!
I think the key why it was, at least for me, way better than the og version is how the setting gave the opportunity to give the characters a more unique, proper and also deeper backstories. They werenβt all out only for the money! They truly hated both governments for what they did individually to them and this hatred formed them into a unbeatable force. The casting, writing and everything is just so well done. (Besides from this the looooooong flashbacks after part 2 in the og version really slowed down the more or less build up suspense and sometimes even destroyed it:/ )

I did watched the 6 episodes, its good and relatable to korean/asian culture. It's not bad afterall so im not hating.
Their skin is immaculate. I probably had that skin when I was a baby. And went downhill from there.

Jun Jong Seo unnie (Tokyo) is really pretty π and played her roles so well in "Money Heist - Korea" and "The Call" π and I got shocked when I realized that she played one of the main roles in The Call, she's undoubtedly good π₯ hoping to see more of her in the future β¨
