When people say he won't fight Benavidez, history prooves them wrong.
They said the exact same about Saunders and sent him to retirement with a broken face.
I remember before this fight was made people were saying Canelo would never fight Saunders due to his slick boxing ability and when Canelo fought him and broke his face they had nothing to say.
Not only that it’s funny how nobody mentions the fact that Canelo gave Saunders a bigger ring cause Saunders threatened to pull out of the fight if it wasn’t bigger and Canelo still stopped that clown.

Yep and Smith was another supposed boogeyman that people said he'd never face, but they always move on to prop up someone else. Atlas said Saunders had the style to beat him and would make it tough for Canelo still late in the fight. And he called Smith a dangerous fighter with good timing and power, but after Canelo unified 168, he refused to give him any credit and called it cherrypicking lol.

I still remember that judge who was having a "bad day" and scored Canelo as the winner. I stopped believing in boxing that night, too.
Clearly lost the first two? GGG's own trainer was telling GGG in the corner of the second fight that he was losing and said afterward that it's "ridiculous" to not give Canelo credit. GGG made his career mainly about Canelo who he was supposed to destroy only to lose at his own game in the rematch to underdog Canelo and caught a second L.
2nd was close, but he lost 1st for sure, atleast by 2 rounds if not more. Still I like canelo a little bit more because how deep his resume is compared to GGG
