Sure you can compare his game to alot of guys. Aaron for the sick throws. Brett for the passion & off script plays. Tom's undying passion to win & be legendary. Mahomes had one of the highest passer ratings last year against zone defenses which proves he can read them. Top 3 against the blitz as well. That said like most QBs he has issues with tight man 2 man coverages. Bengals essentially ran 1 high safety man w/ spy the second half and had him second guessing himself the whole game. He broke so many clean pockets to spin around when no one was after him he looked mentally unfit. The huge sack on 3rd down before they tie the game was insanity there was literally no one after him yet he ran backwards spinning twice. The spy then just came up after he tired himself out and sacked him lol. I think he’s learned a lot from that season though and without a constant deep threat he will learn to read defenses in a more complete nfl offense. He will go to the afc championship again most likely against the bills.
