Breastfeeding is a HUGE commitment and takes soooo much determination. I was a first time mom also, and I had all the same struggles Les mentioned and a few more on top of those. I pushed through it and had the blessing of being able to nurse my son exclusively and on demand the first year of his life. My son is now 2 years and 3 months and our breastfeeding journey is coming to an end very soon. Yes breast milk is and will always be the best but breastfeeding isn’t for everyone and that’s okay. In the end, fed is necessary (best).

I feel like a lot of mom now a days don’t support each other when someone doesnt do the same thing they do. Im pregnant and alot of mom’s body shamed me by saying “omg i was showing until i was 6months for my 1st baby” and me over here showing when i was 14 weeks . im 19 weeks right now and still not comfortable with my pregnancy tummy because of that. I heard alot of stories that ppl cant breast feed and they get alot negative for it. When we should support Each other and make the journey better then worst.

Good for you girl. I'm glad u made this video stating you have no guilt. Breastfeeding mommas make us non breastfeeding mommas feel like we are less and in reality we are all just doing our best and what works for us. I cried because I couldn't nurse my baby and i wanted to so badly but I was also suffocating him so I made the hard decision to stop. He is now 6 yrs old and happy and healthy. Omg LES! They grew so big! I had the same issue with my son not being able to latch & being frustrated! I had to switch to formula because I wasn’t producing enough milk & then they started leaking , got hard & painful 😩 the cabbage leaves worked so well for me! I hated people trying to make me feel bad for not continuing to try but my baby ended up with jaundice so the formula helped him get rid of it !
You tried & that’s what counts! Your baby is healthy & that’s what matters💖
