Hey guys, many of you are asking why we chose the vibrant mode when weโre criticizing the photos by saying the colors and contrast are too bright. The answer is: In Authentic mode the colors are way too weak and the photo is generally very muted and lifeless. Thatโs why we opted for Vibrant mode. If you ask us, there should be another mode between Vibrant mode and Authentic mode that is exactly between the two. Unfortunately, we also made a mistake with the zoom. Of course, the Xiaomi can zoom 120x. The 120 FPS in 4K cannot be selected in slow motion mode, which is why we did not show it in our comparison.

Don't agree att all as a photographer. In natural mode it has still more saturation and contrast then pixel 8 people seem to like. I dont care what brand it's. You choose to use it and complain in every photo in the video. This is why I don't like channels trying to be influencers depending how much companies paying you and people who read from a script.
thats where you are missing the point of xiaomi phones. its trying to match a real camera look. not a smartphone look of photos. And when using the vibrant u cant complain of the saturated and vibrant colors because its literally in the name..." vibrant mode".

xiaomi can shoot macro using ultra wide 3x and 5x. u only used the ultrawide and decided the macro results.

Instead Vivo x100 pro is the most accurate and performs well as per the sensor size

I'm glad I'm not the only one in the comments to think that this all comparison was biased against the Xiaomi 14 ultra, during all the video I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt, but there are too many "one points" to Xiaomi that didn't deserve at all, even more where the own lady Versus said she liked in many aspects. And to make things worse, she even sabotaged the zoom comparison by ommiting the Xiaomi's 30X AI that would crush the other competitators without mercy.

It's always the same. When we use the authentic mode, people write: use the vibrant mode. We chose vibrant mode because the photos are better, in authentic mode the photos look colorless.
You should be using the authentic mode as it is clear in this video that xiaomi got absoloutely destroyed by the other brands which in reality is definitely not the case other reviewers have done much more accurate comparisons of these smartphones and it is definitely a lot closer. @@Versusdotcom

If you don't know how to use the 14 Ultra, then you shouldn't test it with the Vibrant mode, of course. And also Xiaomi is the best at macro and night shots but hey, Versus tells us it's the worst and you should take the S24 Ultra with their purple sky.. Also if you crop (zoom in) the pictures, you should see that the 14 Ultra has much more details. This comparison is a joke ๐

Can you run this same test with the OnePlus 12 being included? Theyโre are many people, like me, who see it competing very closely with these phones and would like to see a direct comparison.
Change your channel name to "SPONSERED". You said iPhone has the natural color tone. Pixel is the best example of natural color. Most of the photos from 14 ultra is eye pleasing and customer need that one .
Some categories are more important than others, so the total does not matter much. I think the different categories should have different weights based on their importance.
It seems to me that you were using the Master Portrait feature on the Xiaomi. There is a Leica Portrait feature instead

Reason why I don't like comparisons like this is because they are mostly sponsored by samsung and apple. Other thing I don't like is that creators don't use the full potential of camera they always has their focus on auto not adjusting aperture or using pro mode . Using everything on auto doesn't gives a full potential photo of mobile

Guys. I imported the Xiaomi 14 Ultra and all these claims of contrast and what not are actually non-existent. Im a professional photographer and i honestly think that your unit has an issue. I click an average of 100-150 pics on a daily basis and 70% i find myself reaching out for the ultra more than my Nikon D5300 camera. Not a single photo comes out overexposed or so contrasty even in challenging situations.
Also, Xiaomi has 120x zoom with AI and it perfoms hell better than my friend's S24U by a gap, especially when ai is on so i wonder how you were testing and missed out on that unmissable detail. I have a lot but please check your unit and review again coz Xiaomi 14 Ultra genuinely has the most advanced capable camera system on the market. (Vivo X100 pro is also up there with it)
And for portraits Xiaomi's multiple focal lengths and portrait styles are dammm good

The reason why Xiaomi has bright images is that you should set its aperture to f 4.0 in bright conditions.
