Hey I'm 24 years old and Asian. Most of the Asians have straight hair but for whatever reason I don't, I have a wavy unmanageable hair. Growing up in the 2000s where almost all the movies, magazines and medias showed mostly straight hair was difficult and made me more self conscious. Later I realised healthy hair is far more important irrespective of straight, curly, etc. You are doing a great job.

I’ve been depressed for a while and I randomly heard this song on the radio and it really was comforting to me. It makes me want to try living again. It made me realise that the only person holding me back is me. I know exactly how you feel because I have been feeling lonely even though I know a bunch of people, totally different from being real friends that understand me. Those are people who just judge us and that's all. But all we have to know about that situation in our lives is that we have to understand that we got to learn how to be happy and enough for ourselves. Because that makes us stronger, that makes us not really care about the useless critics of others, and that makes us have the possibility of finding new friends, and knowing when they are the real ones. I am in "almost" the same journey as you are and I am still lonely (also with all this quarantine stuff obviously) but I assure you that everything is gonna be alright someday, we just have to keep stronger, move foward, do what we love to do and most importantly: Find ourselves :) .

@@rglames683 i think it depends on your location. for example, ellie goulding’s song lights came out ten years ago, and i just heard it yesterday. even so, they have stations for songs from the 90s, 80’s, 2000s, etc, so that’s not really an excuse. they still should play the original. but who knows, she could’ve allowed it.

I’ve been depressed for a while and I randomly heard this song on the radio and it really was comforting to me. It makes me want to try living again. It made me realise that the only person holding me back is me. Everything that is making me feel like this can be changed by me. “You’re going to find yourself somewhere, somehow” I wish someone would comfort me like that and tell me it’s alright. Everyone in my life just blames me.
I know exactly how you feel because I have been feeling lonely even though I know a bunch of people, totally different from being real friends that understand me. Those are people who just judge us and that's all.
But all we have to know about that situation in our lives is that we have to understand that we got to learn how to be happy and enough for ourselves. Because that makes us stronger, that makes us not really care about the useless critics of others, and that makes us have the possibility of finding new friends, and knowing when they are the real ones.
I am in "almost" the same journey as you are and I am still lonely (also with all this quarantine stuff obviously) but I assure you that everything is gonna be alright someday, we just have to keep stronger, move foward, do what we love to do and most importantly: Find ourselves :) .

I also had a problem with doubting my friends and thinking everyone hates me and distancing myself from everyone and actually losing friends. I had a lot of problems that all stemmed from self hate. There is no one on this earth I hate more than myself. I want to change but then I begin to doubt myself. I am not feeling motivated anymore
@@153cm2 Oh, no! You are in the wrong way! These kind of people are stupid and not real friends and that is not the reason to you be the worst thing in the world. Those are fake friends that made you look at yourself like that. Don't be like that :( as this music says, "you are gonna find yourself someway, somehow". You just have to see that if you be positive and confident you can do whatever you want, and that is what makes us feel good. You have to work for your be proud of yourself and EVERYONE can do this, you just have to believe. I really hope that you stop thinking badly about yourself and feel great someday :)
