I knew it, and Daniel Davis said it: it's camera blocking! I love seeing behind-the-scenes footage to see how a sitcom is made, especially when it's such a great show as this! Also, how fun to hear Daniel's real voice back in the day when 'The Nanny' was being made!

Daniel Davis is awesome to interview the host was so stressed out but when Daniel took over all things changed for the better .. class act! One of the best tv shows ever made.

Very smart show indeed till this day. The casts and crew did marvelously. Seriously, so many sitcoms that time and later over relied on slapstick humor and lame oneliners, and overused laugh tracks that made no sense.
I had noooo idea he was from Arkansas! He committed very well to the accent and did great!

I think the date is 9-12-1993. This episode was aired in March 1994.
Thanks @meentje568, the date 9-12-1993 in the description is an error. There was no date on the cassettes for the shooting. The correct date is 1994, which is when Metro Cafe Episode 7 aired. This reportage on The Nanny was included in that episode.
