Oh, I just realize that the reason I love Mark's rapping is because of how natural and flowy and clear and relax it is no matter the beat.
I'm used to hearing strong rapping like Namjoon, (he is my fave too) Taeyong, Yoongi and Hobe but the "naturalness" of Mark is just different and captivating.
I don't usually listen to rap when sleeping but like my lullaby is Mark's rap compilation.

@@celestielsigh I agree, he has good flow and can RAP. Nowadays especially in kpop there are people who are trained to rap or will replicate others style but Mark is a natural. Taeyong has his own style which I like. Yangyang is also a natural, he came to SM w/o any experience in music except violin but very quickly was able to pick up rap and do it well at the same time. Hendery has his own sound too and is improving all the time, I have high hopes for him. I think his rap style is becoming more and more refined. On top of that, all 4 of these boys can write their own rap/song lyrics like a true rapper/artist.

True. I'm surprised nobody's talking about him, Hendery or Sungchan. I love Johnny's english accent in the rap parts (I think u can really hear it) though I understand why some people might not and that's why he might not get lines, but at least I'm glad he has the english line and adlibs, we don't realise it but his parts really complete the song. As for Sungchan, he is new but you can tell he wants to improve. He impressed me frl, idk what to say except he did great and his voice is already very recognisable for me. As well as Hendery as well who I would say has the most unique voice equal with Mark and Taeyong. I love his energy

I totally agree! When Sungchan covered Taeyong’s part in Boss in the Vlive concert, I was totally blown away with how well he managed with such a difficult part in such an iconic song! I really can’t wait to see how much he improves in the future

i would say, hendery and yangyang need more part, they did their every single part so well. they have fancy and fierce rap style. i wish people not slept on them and give more part on the next project/songs.
YangYang is so good and it’s not talked about enough. He has a really nice flow, and the way he adds inflections and nuances to his voice to make his verse interesting is really nice. Korean is his 4th language, and rapping at that kind of pace and energy is so impressive.

Seeing Mark behind the scenes recording and practicing reminds me just how much he deserves the recognition and hype. He really is a great all-rounder, his rap and dance styles are amazing & he can also sing as proven by the tracks where he’s singing and even in those random moments he just suddenly sings, as well as in SuperM’s As We Wish drama, he did great singing the piece of Yoo Jae Ha. Mark is more than the goofy, cute, funny little brother character that majority thinks of him as, although he does give off that vibe by the way he acts. Not saying we should set aside his great easy-going cheerful personality tho but I feel like people should recognize and praise him for his talent and skills more often, I’m sure he’d appreciate it more if we give him feedbacks about his work and career & how he did in any and all of his performances.
