This reminds me of an old D&D campaign my dad told me about. He said that his party was fighting a god, and the god requested a parlay when one of the party members ran at him with a carpet. When they asked the reason the god said "If something defies logic, there must be a much higher chance of it killing me than traditional arms and armor." The god was right in the fact that the carpet was a carpet of smothering that got buffed by another god giving blessings to the players. If the carpet hit, there is no save, no spells, no powers, and no strength that can break free from it until the word is spoken to release it.

It has such high concealment, the only thing more concealed than it is fists, thats right, fists give you one higher concealment than the hulking spoon of gold, so along with it being an instant kill on unarmored guards, and being silent, it's PERFECT for a stealth build
That’s absolutely not true, over half the melees have 30 base concealment, the absolute max you can acquire without the use of skills. Although the spoon is fun in stealth, it’s not the second best melee for concealment, not by a long shot.

@@squishmellow3 That's due to the high concealment of your other weapons counteracting the concealment loss on your melee slot, most melees would keep you at 3 concealment.

Payday shotguns are borked. Basically all pellets do max damage.
So if you shotgun does 100 damage, and you hit a guy with one pellet, it does 100 damage.
If you hit one guy with 3 pellets still does 100 damage. But if you his 3 guys with 3 pellets you deal 100 damage to each.
