Jimin is an insane performer. He’s an all rounder on stage. You have cute, sweet Mochi Jimin off-stage and THE PARK JIMIN onstage. You can see him in behind the scenes footage, go from joking, laughing, etc to “performance” face in 1 sec. Such a professional. Jimin’s best solo performance IMHO is RED suit FILTER. He gives off MJ/Prince vibes and is my absolute fav performance!!

Music has always touched my soul. I grew up from listening to 1920's clear to present day. This song makes me cry because how Jimin performs just this one song totally I'm in awe. His body flows with the words and he moves such as he has angel wings. He is captivating each person even if you aren't right there with him. The dancers really are beautiful as well. ❣JIMIN, born October 13, 1995, at age 11, started studying, performing, & competing (winning every competition), in hip hop, popping (excelled), & street dancing, while attending the renowned Just Dance Academy in Busan where he's from! He was so good that an instructor even had the high tuition fee waived at one point! This was while also attending middle school, where he loved sports, being quite athletic, joined the football team, excellent at track, great at basketball, & billiards! Jimin also, all throughout his schooling, was known as a top scholar, achieving perfect scores, especially in math & science which just always came easy to him! Jimin was even class president for 9 yrs in a row! Jimin, all throughout his schooling, was also quite good in art class, as well as calligraphy.
Jimin, then also took up contemporary dance. The media, after seeing a performance of Jimin's performing at a huge Busan Festival Event, called Jimin "The rising star of Busan"!! JIMIN also studied ballet & traditional Korean dance while attending Busan High School of the Arts. Jimin still went to Just Dance Academy to take hip hop classes whenever he could because his first love has always been hip hop, even though he was now majoring in contemporary! JIMIN even had an offer to dance overseas, but declined because he also wanted to become a singer since the 2nd grade, to the dismay of one of his dance instructors who said "The world of dance was going to lose a great artist"!!
So Jimin then went and auditioned for BigHit Entertainment, (company BTS is signed with), being the very last member to join, being a trainee for only a few months (which is unheard of for most Kpop idols), as opposed to the 2-3 yrs of being a trainee the other members had! But Jimin was so good that he was assigned the official title of one of the two Main Dancers, as well as Lead Vocalist. Jimin was even assigned most of the high notes since the very beginning, because even without all that training in the beginning, he was that good, a natural born singer who, just like his dancing makes you feel every emotion and feeling he's trying to convey!
JIMIN, also, for 8 yrs, since a quite young boy, trained in various forms (4), of martial arts: Taekwondo (Blackbelt), Hapkido, Kumdo (Korean form of Kendo), & Chinese martial arts. where'd Lamar go? but he'd say it's also a 10 out of 10 for shuuurre 😁 If you'd listen to his vocals, you'd be impressed by how stable it is coz with the choreo it should've made him huff and puff but you could hardly hear him out of breath. Also, I love that in their other dances, his hair would also be like grooving, and members pointed that out how his hair could actually also dance which is really really cool. Intersting fact: Shawn Stockman from Boyz II Men went to the BTS concert at Rose Bowl shared that it was one of the best shows he ever saw (and he's seen a lot of shows). He loved Jimin's song so much that he sang a cover of this song in Korean! Here is the link to his comments about BTS concert & his cover of Serendipity. (Note: he was speaking with someone he called "Q" and many speculated that it was "Q"unicy Jones but it was never confirmed.

This was a choreo done by Brian Puspos. He said that there was no need to water down anything for Jimin, he knew that he would nail it, in fact he said that Jimin exceeded his expectations. He is a big Jimin fanboy! The dance part which was dope at 9:02, actually Jimin freestyling and not part of the choreo. Brian also said that the hand movements were all Jimin's choices.
This is actually not my ult fav Serendipity performance. The camera work doesn't fully show all the beautiful dance moves, and his black and white outfit distracts a fair bit.
But no matter what performance Jimin does, it's art in motion.

Out of the solo performances for this particular tour (Love Yourself tour), I love Jimin's choreography the most. The style, the intricate movements. Mesmerizing.
Just to be clear, I'm talking about the choreography. As for whole performances, everyone brings something different, so each one is amazing in its own right.
You're right that they know what the audience wants, but it's a two-way street. Sometimes ARMY would do things for BTS too, the most notable one is singing "Young Forever" at Wembley. There's a complete video of it on "Enjoy BTS More". (It's worth reacting to.) ARMY also sometimes do special projects if a member's birthday falls close to a concert date.
Also, if you follow Suga's tour, you'll see him and ARMY learning what each other likes as the tour progresses. Him playing random notes on the piano, or ARMY barking at him, or ARMY bringing unique phones to get a laugh from him for when he goes to the barricade to choose a phone to record himself selfie-style, or Indonesian ARMY singing a special fanchant for him and him throwing out Indonesian slang words to praise them.
The relationship between BTS and ARMY is so special and wholesome
