Iβm going to buy a shirt today
@@jrodburner letβs goooo
I would but I don't have money
You should make a navy blue shirt with your channel logo on it. Hate to be rude but the grey shirt in the link is kinda plain. Just a suggestion.
@@joshuawoodard1902 love the idea. Definitely will do that
1:00 the sound of that hit literally made me a baseball fan again after 20+ years
I can't disagree with you. I got bored of baseball around '05 and fell off. Seeing Otani in the WBC where he struck out trout to win it was my first glimpse of him. Then I went down a rabbit hole on his game and he single handedly got me interested again
@@BlandBandithappy that youβre back into it! Cheers to the 2024 season
Hearing that swing made me stand up , mouth hanging
*neuron activation*
The monotone "I don't think we are gonna see that baseball again" as soon as it left the bat almost made me spit my drink out
I remember watching that Shohei game live (there was nothing else on TV that day and Iβm a Braves fan) before he became a huge star. I watched him pitch earlier in the game, then I remember yelling in excitement when he hit that HR. It was his 2nd of the season and he would hit way more that same season. Just the sound of his hit was like a gunshot. Before I clicked this video I KNEW this clip had to be in here.
Ohtani is a special guy
If he stays on the pace heβs on now, heβll be in the Hall of Fame for sure.
@@joshuawoodard1902 definitely
Shohei has always been a star
Iβm saying this was his 2nd HR of the season. Nobody would have thought he would hit 46 HR that season.
I had never heard of him before his home runs started flowing in. Thatβs what I meant by before he was a star.
That ohtani swing π₯
So beautiful
Cody's bomb in new York is one of my favorites sounds like a gunshot
That was a shot
If you like that then listen to Shohei Ohtani against the White Sox
Fits pretty well for new york lmao. βGunshotβ
@@bigdjohnny1646 shut up you buggin
@@bigdjohnny1646 lol u got a point
The Ohtani one at 1:00 is so unreal I want to accuse you of juicing it up. What a swing.
When you get the barrel of the bat at 97mph fastball β¦ ππππ
He is something special
2:33 I donβt think weβre ever gonna see that baseball again πππ Iβm crying
this was the best call in the whole video by far
That Ohtani jack was one of the most beautiful things of ever seen and heard π₯² from all angles
p
Ohtaniβs hit just hits different.
Every time too
Everyone talks about Ohtani's swing, but Matt Vasgersian's commentary is something else
"First pitch swingingβ¦
β¦Oh hoh, and FIRST PITCH CRUSHING!!!"
love it ππππ
Yeah! The commentary is really on point!
Vasgersian is top notch commentator
That hit on 1:13 he put every amount of physical & kinetic energy into that swing. Crazy
That shohei one was the best
That Shohei One π³
The brewers announcers call on that altuve bomb on the first pitch of the game was great
'yikes what a start' π€£π€£
Ohtaniβs HR was literal dynamite. No other way to describe it than βsexyβ π€€
Cody Bellinger hit that first ball so hard it made MY back hurt
1:00
That Shohei swing sound should be in mlb the show
i want ohtaniβs to be the sound when i receive a notification π₯
Man, seeing all of those clips with empty stands is so depressing. I'm glad we were able to get live sports during that time, but I hope we never have to go back to those days.
The crack of the bat is asmr for baseball fans around the world, it's sounds like a mix of fireworks and lighting together, especially the amount of power these baseball players swing with is mind blowing, when the bat and baseball connect together it's like a pop of sparks.
The empty stadiums of the 2020 season really being the crack out damn
Cracks off the bat in the MLB are as sweet as a Matt Vasgersian call
That one by Shohei Ohtani was absolutely drilled!
ESPN's on field mics are awesome
Ohtani's hits sound like bombs every time. Was fun to watch. Great video
I was there for the Ohtani hit at 1:00
Multiple people around me audibly, βHoly shit!β
Ohtani OMG THE HARDEST HIT OF BASEBALL!!!!!!!!!π€―π€―
Obviously, the Ohtani homer is insane, but they also mic the Sunday night games up to amplify the bat sound. I think Sean Murphyβs might be the best, overallβ¦ I wouldβve loved to hear that baby with the Sunday night mics. Shit sounded frighteningly powerful π₯΅
2:09 is STILL the best bat crack iβve ever heard, not even a competition
Nah β¦ Ohtani is still number 1.
The sound is so full β¦
Stantonβs home run against Glasgow in San Diego is one of the loudest Iβve ever heard.
The loudest crack Iβve ever personally heard was will Clark at Atlanta in 1987- second was the big cat in 1998 at Atlanta
Galarraga was a beast. I grew up loving the Rockies and tried (and failed) to swing like him. Never got to see him in person, but 97 v Kevin Brown was a moon shot.
ESPN soundbite is just different
Sean Murphy s sounded so perfect
when the crack is loud because barely anyone is at the game:
Great Vid!! No Bellinger off of Martin in the 2020 NLCS? That crack was insane!!!!
Why are the bat cracks so satisfying?
Man that Shohei launch is something else.
Ohtani tho π₯π₯π₯
Ohtani beginning his march to the MVP that year. So nice
And first pitch crushing is such a fantastic call! Matt v is the best in the business
1:00 goat
*very calmly*
βI donβt think weβre ever gonna see that baseball again.β
That was very satisfying.
Most bat cracks are super loud but ESPN is notorious for juicing the mice to make them way louder than theyβre supposed to be
The most beautiful sound π
TWO Unforgettable 450+ ft, Back to Back Game 6 World Series BLASTS, same ballpark for both the 2021 & 2022 MLB World Series. As one left the park (β21) & this seasons was to Dead Center. Each iconic hit sealed the fate of the team which would not be hoisting the WS Trophy π once the last out was recorded in game 6. π»πΊπΈπ€πΌπΊπΈπ»
espn is so good for these kinds of videos
A great vid!
1:25 absolutely bombs it out of the park
This video is so good
ive watched that Ohtani one easily 20 times
ESPN bat cracks are the best
For real
2:34 βI donβt think weβre ever gonna see that baseball again.β πππ #classic
Ah, Real Great!
W intro
I think the crack has more to do with the broadcast microphones than the actual soundβ¦Iβm sure most hard hit balls sound like these, unless hit on the sweet spot (which is quieter).
All I'm saying is, anytime Josh Hamilton hit dingers at the park, that's what it sounded like. The Ballpark in Arlington is known as The Great Hambino's playground.
Rillas In The Midst
My roommate and I were sitting at the All You Can Eat Porch in the same where he hit that ball, just wrong game lol
Great video. Can you make one of lefties hitting tanks

idk why but im more of a fan of the college metal bat sound. Maybe i just think it sounds more satisfying or nostalgic
Love to see it
May I ask how you get these clips? (Also love the vids keep it up!!!)
I use baseball savant. Thxπͺ
My favorite was definitely shohei's against the white Sox
When I played here in Australia we used metal bats. But the crack of a ball off wood is just something else, isn't it?
Perfect perfect moments part 3 please
I have a whole playlist of my perfect perfect videos if you go to my playlists on my channel
2:33 πππππππ
2:33 I dont think were ever gonna see that baseball again
Is there anything better than the sound of the crack of a bat?
Sean Murphy got no chill
Ya era hora de que pusiera un vΓdeo de teoscar HernΓ‘ndez, tienes que poner mΓ‘s vΓdeos de teoscar HernΓ‘ndez
ESPN has the best bat cracks. Great micβs I guess
Boteβs walk off grand slam should have been on here.
i mean. to be fair. Most of these are just about microphone placement and how loud it is in the mix. I certainly know that some have that 'it' cracking of the bat sound. But alot of these are just regular homers with good mic placement lol. Having said that, the Ohtani one at 1:00 is incredible lol
Javi Baez sounded like a Perfect-Perfect.
You would love my βperfect perfectβ video series
Tim Raines Jr home run was solid and moist
1:17 - The artificial crowd noise....
Video idea? Best bat flips
Great idea
Idk what mics ESPN uses but they result in some LOUD bat cracks.
Always wondered id those louder "cracks" was a result of the bats possibly being hollowed out and hence amplifying the sound.
Drilling out a bat and plugging the end makes the bat lighter and allows the batter to swing it faster and is the reason that some MLB players have been caught doing it in the past.
itβs mostly because of the audio equipment. notice how most of these clips are from espn broadcasts, their mics can make a 50mph single sound like a gunshot lol
The only player I'd rather have on my team than Aaron Judge?
Shohei Ohtani.
Chris Taylor hits doubles that sound like these homers
Of course it's going to be loud in an empty stadium.
Lol ohtani hits sound like a fucking canon
Ronald Acuna Jr against McGowin
What a shame seeing so many games where there were no fans. Damn the government for forcing such a scam on the American people. We will never get that time back.
Steroid era reaching the third deck was a normal thing. I've seen a ball launched out.
loudest 1 I heard on TV was Mo Vaughn as a Met obliterating 1 off the scoreboard @ Shea & in person was Chipper also off the scoreboard @ Shea..Lets Go Mets!!!
Mo Vaughn - clip didnt do it justice as I remember but here krplus.net/bidio/mbl5aHiIZaG8ZaA
Chipper - krplus.net/bidio/eqZ7ZZWVeHi-gJQ
Old guys hitting bombs if you can bro
Love that idea. Definitely will do that soon
How is Solerβs World Series Game 6 bomb not on here?
Judges was hella loud
Try to put more videos in here from the 70s 80s and 90s
I would love to but most clips that arenβt in the statcast era (2015-present) get copyrighted since the website I use only consists of video clips from the statcast era. Iβll do my best to include them tho
Thanks
A lot of the clips from ESPN. For some reason their mics are absurd...
How about make a video with hits nit in covid year because it echos
C r u s h e d
Me being mexican I love how he said a mexican word
Santa Maria
@@justinkaufman6896 Yah that word I just don't want to say it I will sound weird
nothing will ever beat ohtani off cease
interesting that every ball has the same big room plate reverb on it, Almost like you added a fake sound in premier and never bothered to change the effect for each different ball hit.
Almost like every clip is of ESPN mics or empty stadiums. Why would I add reverb or fake audio?? Thereβs no need to when the clips already sound insane
And idek how to do that cuz I edit all my vids on iMovie on my phone
