Challenge idea. Catch the first six fully evolved duel type mons you come across. The catch? You can’t double up on any type, so each of you will end up with twelve unique typings on each team

A better way to do this might be to ban single type Pokémon and then make sure the first Pokémon's secondary type matches the next Pokémon's primary type. That way you don't get locked in.

So as possible catches I would count anything, found in/around a hospital, that could transport you to a hospital or usually learns any healing moves 😁

Challenge Idea: Taking Each Others' Leftovers
During their starter selection, Player A will pick a pokemon from the three available. The remaining two pokemon that player A did not pick will then fall to Player B. Leaving Player A with 1 Pokemon, and B with 2.
Then during Player B's starter selection, they will now only pick one, and the two left over will be given to Player A. Leaving both with 3 Pokemon a side.
Next Player A chooses 1 from their next selection of three, leaving B with the 2 left over Pokemon choices. A now has 4, B with 5.
Final round, B chooses 1 more, and A collects 2 left over, leaving both with 6 Pokemon each.
This challenge enforces No Skip Rule
Is this a feasible challenge?

Both of you Choose/Radom Wheel a type and build your team around it (like gym leaders) but don't reveal to one another the type.

A cool version of this challenge would be you both follow the same chain so if chill caught a flying/fire type then quick gg would have to follow that type and just keep doing that until you have 6 Pokemon

Next time y'all should start with a single type pokemon. Then only able to chain with dual type. Once you get the matching type. That typing is eliminated and you have to find a match for the second type.

challenge: Catch a team of 9 random pokemon. When finished, flip a coin to determine the evolution state of each of the 9 pokemon. Heads= 1 evolution up. Example. A charmander who gets a coin flip heads will go up 1 stage to become a charmeleon. Tails = 1 de/evolutionary stage down. example a charmader who gets a coin flip tails, cannot go any lower but will be brought in full circle to a fully evolution state ie a charizard. another example is a heads on a charizard will bring it in full circle back to a charmander, and a tails on a charizard will be a charmeleon after going down by 1 stage. after doing this to the 9 randomly caught pokemon you can chose the 6 you like for battle. skip all non evolutionary pokemon in your random encounters for this challange

I’m not completely sure why, I would assume to have it work with Greninja’s higher Special Attack stat.

I feel like you could also do this but you cold pick your type after each dual type Pokemon, that way you keep from getting type locked.

Rather than having one pokemon with a disadvantage, if a move isn't usable (like aura wheel), then you should be able to reroll that move to something else. You could try to catch a dup of the same mon, and use the move that corresponds to the location of the bad move (in Aura wheels case, the first one)

You should do a challenge based on natures! Maybe divide the natures into 2 categories, then flip a coin to determine which nature group/team your next Pokémon must have.

If you're going to be type locked, water is probably the best type to be locked into.
Lots of variety in secondary types, good move pools, not a lot of types resist water.
There's a reason that mono water teams can be competitively viable.

I like seeing Yal do the competitive move sets maybe mix some more of that in

I'm fairly certain that Aura Wheel can still be used even on not-Morpeko pokemon. Guys if y'all see this maybe it'll help in future videos.

Challenge idea: QuickGG actually uses his 130 base power legendary electric attack move against your whole water team

if you guys do this again, you should make a clause that the first random encounter has to be dual type to help in case you keep getting mono typings!

How about a strength or weakness challenge.
One person gets a random encounter (don’t catch it). From there the other person gets to choose a type that’s either strong against that pokemon or weak against it, depending on typing preference. Then the person that got their choice has to find a random encounter (don’t catch it) and the other person catches something that’s strong or weak against that pokemon.
If the random encounter isn’t strong or weak against something you want, your allowed 3 skips.

Chain types by catching a pokemon that would have a type thats super effective effective against the previous one caught.

What if you guys did a video like a “BST Shopping List” Challenge, where you go out into the wild and can catch whatever (only 1 legend) but you can only have so many BST spread throughout your team
like for example, you start with 2500 BST balance and each catch subtracts an amount from that, and you can’t go over. idk if this has been done before or if it would work well, but i was thinking about it

Challenge idea weakness chain. Catch a random encounter then catch the first pokemon who's type counters it. Keep doing that until you have a team.

Had an idea for challenge, evolution point challenge. You start with 6 evolution points. You have catch baby pokemon and then you can spend evolution points to evolve it by a stage and another point for final stage if it can evolve again.

I got a great challenge. You guys both have three random starters, choice lock, but rock paper scissors decides who gets to choose. So if chillin wins and picks middle quick must take middle as well.

Let's do a random pokemon vs random movements
1 of you get the option of being on the world and choose whatever pokemon you want but the moves are random not even matching the type, and the other player all the pokes must be random but he can choose all the movements for the pokes, both get only 1 skip, abilities are random for both

You should do this again but where the next type you get is the one that has a weakness to the previous one caught.

I like switching from ss to sv. The sv videos bring variety and pokemon you don’t ever get to see on ss and that’s the fun of it. Of course the game and randomizer aren’t at the same level but the variety is well worth it in my opinion.

you guys should do this again but the 2nd catch has to be a duel type and you actually go off on a type link instead of catching the same type over and over again. so if you catch a water type first, and a water flying type 2nd, the next catch has to be flying. if the catch after that was flying electric then the next catch has to be electric. woulda guarantee a more diverse team.

make a list of 10 items. like " 1) X type 2) fully evolved 3) legend" etc etc. When you take turns catch a random pokemon the other person gets to put a limiter from the list but only once per limiter. so "You can't catch fully evolved" means who ever is catching can only catch baby/mid stage. and since you put the limiter on each other rather than randomize it there is abit strategy in it as well. the amount of skips you could use shouldn't be too high so I would suggest 2

Next time, no more than two of the same type! So if you get water, then water/rock, the third has to be rock

Random encounter your first pkmn, catch it. Next, overworld encounter a pkmn that is super effective to the pkmn you just caught, catch it and then proceed to catch the next overworld pkmn that super effective against that one, until you have 6. 3 skips, fully evolved only, one legendary and If the pkmn has a x4 weakness, you must catch the pkmn that deals the x4 if no x4 is available then the x2 is used.
