My 1st time hearing BVNDIT (밴디트)! Reacting to "Hocus Pocus, Dumb, Jungle & Venom" MVs!

I've always claimed Dumb as one of the best kpop songs ever, and I still stand by it. But Dramatic is up there, it's SUCH a good song.

BVNDIT are sooooo underrated and have like 0 support from their company (the company has Chung Ha in it) i love them so much and Venom is such a banger, but Dumb will always be THAT song.

Yiyeon has one of the most pleasant voices I've ever heard, not just in Kpop. Definitely in my top 5 voices.

Bvndit are all HUGE moomoos that got to debut and make a point to sing on music shows and other performances live as much as the industry will let them. And also terribly underrated since no one has mentioned that yet.

BVNDIT are so underrated! They were in such a good place building a solid fanbase from Dumb to Jungle and then attend KCON but then COVID happened and the company put them on a 2 year hiatus where they seemed to only focus on Chungha. I'm so happy their back! You should check out their cover of Psycho by Red Velvet in your own time. It was done for KCON. Dramatic is one of my favs by them. An oldie but a goodie and also produced by Hui of Pentagon. Thanks for reacting to BVNDIT. So happy you enjoy their music and yes there's no visual holes in this group!

Austin, thank you for reacting to Bvndit! "Dumb" is one of my all-time favorite Kpop songs of all-time. I love the harmonies and the vocals. It never gets old for me. Bvndit is such an underrated group IMHO. I am so happy that they had a comeback after 2 years with "Venom". "Venom" is a bigger-budget banger that I hope will make a bigger impression amongst the mainstream. If the stars align, Bvndit will make it big--they really deserve it. ; )

oh, you should really react to Dramatic and some b-sides too! "My error", "Cool", some "Come and get it" stage and the It's Live version of "Don't mess with me" which are just perfect! - and a bonus with their covers of RV "Psycho", SNSD"Genie", Hwasa "Twit", and "Venom" again on "it's live" on any stage.
What I like the most about BVNDIT is that they don't hold that child-ish image.. they are super funny and hold that youth feel but, they don't get locked into this "forever a kid" trap that restrain the content.

I just watched you reaction to Pentagon earlier today and now you’re reacting to bvndit! I actually learned about them through a song that pentagon’s leader Hui produced for them called Dramatic. Dumb remains my favorite gg song of all time. I’m mad that their company had them on hiatus for so long, they deserve so much better.

I'm so glad you finally checked them out!! Hocus Pocus was their debut and while it was good, the bside that dropped alongside it, Dramatic, is what really have them international fan attention. There is a performance video for it that I highly suggest checking out! Unfortunately, after Jungle, they went on a nearly 2-year hiatus. Partly due to Covid, partly due to label prioritization (their labelmate Chungha was doing a multi-song pre-release and album project), and partly due to neglect imo. The youngest member Seungeun went on Girls Planet 999, a survival show, and drummed up interest in the group, but it still took months after the program finished for Venom to come out. I'm hoping now that they're back we won't have to wait forEVER for another comeback b/c the girls are too talented to be out of the game so much! And the member you noticed for her unique visuals and voice was Songhee. Even though she has unique features, she's actually Korean. In fact, all of them are which feels strange for an idol group these days haha. Again, thank you for reacting to them!!

Oh you’re missing Dramatic !! That’s honestly my favourite song of their’s, it’s a masterpiece and there’s only a performance MV but it’s so damn great.

I think what I loved about "Dumb" is the fact that there's no slow-down or delay between end of chorus right back into verse.

For being from the same company as Chung Ha, MNH Ent. They're DRASTICALLY under-funded and under-appreciated... "Dumb", "Jungle", and "Venom" are certified bops. "Hocus Pocus" was okay, but not completely my taste. I'm glad they did a switch in visual and styling from "Hocus Pocus" to "Dumb."

Yiyeon- Leader, main rapper. She's the one who you liked her voice in Hocus Pocus. Even though she's a rapper, she's a really good vocalist.
Songhee- The girl with the deepest voice and the one who catched your attention by her visuals. She's the lead vocalist and her tone is amazing. Her voice is so unique and stands out a lot.
Jungwoo- Main vocalist, she's the one doing multiple high notes in the songs. You'll like her a lot, her range is amazing. She's one of the best 4th gen main vocals but she's so underrated sadly. She can even sing opera's high notes.
Simyeong- the tallest one, lead dancer. Again, another good vocalist. Her speciality is dancing but she knows her voice a lot.
Seungeun - The one you said looked younger is actually the maknae, you were right. She's the main dancer of the group and her presence is incredible.
Although BVNDIT has some rappers, most of their songs are focused on vocals, like "Children" of "Don't mess with me" for example.
Their role models are Red velvet and mamamoo, so they want to be recognized by her unique sound and mostly by their vocal abilities

BVNDIT are amazing!! They consist of five members:
- Yiyeon: leader, main rapper, lead vocalist, visual, fotg (the girl who‘s voice you really liked in dumb)
- Songhee: lead vocalist (the one with the attractive deep voice and incredible visual)
- Jungwoo: main vocalist
- Simyeong: lead dancer, vocalist
- Seungeun: main dancer, vocalist, rapper, center, maknae
Their live vocals and performances are amazing and they are incredibly underrated.

Cool and Children are both very experimental (especially the MV‘s)

Also, yes, Songhee. She's not even considered a visual, probably because of her skin color which is darker than Korea's standard but my god is she gorgeous.

It fills my heart with joy that you've finally found these girls. BVNDIT (Be Versatile aNd Do IT) have been sadly neglected by their label despite being one of the most talented groups out there. "Cool" is an all-English song if you want to check that out too, very much an empowering anthem. Great reactions to their songs too. Superb job as always, Austin.

Please do a part 2. Yiyeon does a bit of rapping in Dramatic, it's a very catchy song. Their B-sides show more of their vocals. They also do a very faithful cover of Fin.K.L's Now (vocals and dance) and their performance of SNSD's Genie does justice to the legends, well worth a listen

I love all their songs. MNH has done them dirty. Hope after Venom they get more attention. They are so well rounded vocally.

Best group for low note appreciation! All their stuff is good, but Dumb, Dramatic, and Children still have yet to be beaten for me. Children is the go-to if you want a slower song. The one you liked most with the deep voice is Songhee. Simyeong is the blonde/gorgeous one from Hocus Pocus is indeed the tallest at 5'7. Also my bias.

Jungle gives my gay heart all it wants. It goes so hard. I don't get why their entertainment does not see the gold they have.

Don't get me wrong, i appreciate these girls so much and I've been there since debut, but what I think their title tracks are missing is a little more oomf in the chorus. Dramatic is one of my favorite BVNDIT song and the chorus on that one is super catchy.
