Please Rework Lab GGG, I hate having to tell people to do the worst mechanic in the game to get the gem they need
I’d be fine if they removed lab entirely. Nobody does it for fun unless they have some sort of neurological disorder.
any idea's on what they could do to make it better? would you remove it and impliment the points some other way or reduce it from 4 labs to a single one with different wings that each need to be done in different runs where you get points from maybe? would be kind of interesting

Early labs just put green gems. You got dd chain, lancing steel, blink arrow, animate weapon, ice trap, fire trap, explosive trap mirror arrow. Something will sell I promise barely anything from both red and blue are worth the money.

2 weeks ago I tried to farm myself a PB of dissipation because I thought 30d was too high. I'm new so didn't really get rich last season. 35 uber runs in a row and didn't see it a single time, 70 crafts of the same colour. I completely agree with everything in this video!

did they change something since this video? im fairly new to understanding poe but ive never seen "transform a non transfigured skill gem to be a random transfigured version" when doing merc lab. is it hidden or locked or something? or is this just skill issue

Not sure if it will be the same but in 3.23 i got the tfg gems after only running 1-3 labs for each, was super easy, barely an inconvenience

Decided to self farm a dd chain for league start testing yesterday, got it on my very first run. I will not get anything good on friday in lab.
Do your merc lab with a couple of friends so that way if they dont need tranfigured gem u can use their devine font with your gems

I'm not saying it's a good strat, more like I got lucky. During the campaign I decided to do 5-6 norm labs in the hopes of hitting a cool gem. Well I landed on ice nova of frostbolts =D

you still can follow the guide, as long as the guide tells you that leveling / campaign / lab farm phase is going to be a different build, and you can only swap when you received your gem.
that being said, that would already be a semi-advanced guide and not a super beginner friendly guide.

Run Uber if you can, merc if you can't its stated in the video. Along with more info on a 13min video which is not very long. Just stick with tiktok if you don't have the attention spam

Because there might be relatively new players who have absolutely no idea what is going on, and this video is trying to give them a bit more info so they can keep up with more knowledgeable players who know yes "run merc lab".

Did Uber Lab the other day, and never really read the Transfigure gem thing. Transfigured my good blue gem, only to realize it transfigures it to a Gem of the same color - not upgrading my current Gem.
You can cancel the offer if you dont want to lose your current gem.

Here's a cheat: if it is a popular build and you hate running lab, just buy it. Done.
If you like running lab, full clear, get your darkshrines and Silver Chests for chances at Grand Spectrums, and then just keep throwing gems at the top to either get what you want or check to sell. It does not take 30-50 tries unless you are insanely unlucky because there is even the craft of changing a gem to a transfigured version of that gem. You'll get that at least twice in 20 runs. Just buy a bunch of gems of whatever color you need before you go in and you'll get it.
Wait normal lab isn't a guaranteed trans swap? I ran normal lab last league 32 times to get my trans gem and I got the option each time. Is this a new change or I just got crazy lucky?
its not guaranteed to have the one that swaps exact gem to its trans option.
I rarely got it. Even on the higher lab. Don't know how you would have pulled that off

I did what you said not to do at league start last time. Just kept speed running regular lab at level 40 and built up a bunch of penance brands to sell. It worked pretty well for early divines but I would not recommend it. I got burnt out from the game so fast. Lab sucks so much.

It is cringe to even suggest running normal labs to hunt for gems. Just run Merc labs till you get what you want. Until then, just adapt your build until you get the skill you need.

what 30-50 tries?? it's 5 to 10 cruel labs on the unluckiest day in the universe.
I don’t get why annulment gems are so rare. I may have found 6 as drops in over 2K hours of game play ( few leagues). Why? Don’t they want us to dynamic craft like Last Epoch and other games with great crafting systems. I don’t get it. The risk involved with using an annulment gem should justify its commonality. Bit of a rant… sorry. Great vid bro.
