I’ve noticed in the comments for the past few Gfriend comebacks- that even if there are people that aren’t fans of them, everybody comes here and acknowledges the fact that Gfriend is insanely talented and has a bunch of good songs.
Every Gfriend video I go to (especially lately), you see comments like, “I’m not a fan of theirs but their music is so good!” Or “I’ve heard of Gfriend but wow I never realized they were this talented!” Or “Wow I’m just a casual listener but they always deliver every comeback, I think I might have to Stan now!”
That’s the power of our girls. They may not be as popular as they should be, but slowly but surely they’re capturing the hearts of everyone that watches them, and I couldn’t be more proud.
Wow there are so many new fans thinking gfriend is “unpopular” 😆 they are one of the most widely recognized groups in kpop, with multiple mega hits in Korea (Me gustas tu, Rough, Navillera, Love whisper, TFTMN). They were already popular way before joining Big Hit (thanks to THE fancam and their insane synced choreos). Yes they are not as popular as Twice or BP or RV but they’re definitely not unpopular.

I'm a little bit emotional right now the way GFRIEND bloom from girl's to women's. I like to give around of applause to their company for not forcing them to do concepts that is not right for their age. That they let GFRIEND grow.
I love how in every comeback Gfriend became more and more matured in musicality. Im not a big fan who being with them from the very first day. Infact i start to listen to their music eversince i play superstar gfriend. I immediately think that this is the best girlgroup so far. I also think the same, the fact that BH acquired Source Music, has opened many doors tl our girls. They are gonna have three comebacks in one year, something that we haven't had since 2017. They had an online concert, they have now a regular serie "Memoria". They have more financial support and it looks like Bang Si Hyuk is giving them a lot of support, even our girls are being part of the creation of their album. So I'm very happy right now.

I've been a fan of them since the Rough era, but I'm not the typical fan who follows fan projects such as mass streaming, mass voting, etc. I also don't buy albums, merchandise, etc. You could say I'm a casual listener, but I really admire and like their title songs (well yeah, before that I didn't really pay attention to their b-side song). But, ever since they "joined" to BH, I started to wonder, "Is their title song really this good?! It's so different from before, but I really like it!" and I started paying attention to their other songs. Not only that, I started checking their IG account (previously I didn't follow their account) and seeing their concept photos from before and after joining BH. There have been many significant positive changes, and I really like their style after joining BH. Finally, since the Crossroad era, for the first time ever, I've been dying to buy their one album n lightstick, as well as some pretty merchandise that I like. 😆 Unfortunately, I've no money (even now). Even though I had money, I didn't buy it right away because I had to use it to meet primary n secondart needs (which I think is more important). Maybe in the future, if I have more money, I'll buy it. Aameen🙏🏻
