whoever came up with the title “semicolon” and the motto “take a break. there’s a long journey ahead of you”, is a genius cause a semicolon indicates a pause between two related clauses. so a semicolon is a literal pause in a sentence, and in this case, in the journey. so maybe the semicolon is a pause on their current era, and a transition into their new one (but the new era still relates to the old one somehow)

Svt is slowly maturing and they embrace their growth as adult who need to keep moving, their music slowly change for the better but still with the freshness seventeen always has. I'm supporting whatever they release, in woozi I put my trust 💪

as a person diagnosed with depression, this teaser made me emotional right now. thinking about how they use Semicolon ( ; ) as an album title. also the message in this teaser "take a break, there's a long journey ahead of you" makes me wanna hug them right now. i stan and love the right group.
semicolon (;) also used as a message of affirmation and solidarity against suicide, depression, addiction, and other mental health issues.

There's so many meanings in this trailer. Author uses a Semicolon when he wanted to end the sentence but chooses not to... Meaning, We are the Author and the Sentence is our life. This could be a suicide prevention for all the youth who is suffering from mentall illness. They encouraged us to continue living and never give up.

The semicolon project is for everyone who self-harms, is suicidal, depressed, has anxiety, is unhappy, going through a broken heart, or just lost a loved one. I hope thru this album, SVT can spread "hopes" to all the young people who are struggling and goin' thru difficult times in their life.

i remember when i used to think, "i'll just be a casual fan of seventeen" but after two months i dedicated my life to them and i now have bought countless albums and posters and a lightstick. seventeen what did you do to me😭

i feel like this album is supposed to motivate people who don't feel like going on anymore. instead of ending the sentence, they chose to replace it with a semicolon. the semicolon probably will reflect how there are many more things in life, like being able to play hard. carats fighting! im really excited for this comeback

Everyone was predicted the teaser and I just realized that it is in the word of Heng;garae already. What a puzzle comeback, a unique content with touching messages.

Brings me so many memories, this is my 1st comeback with SEVENTEEN. I remember when Joshua Blonde, Jeonghan bday, Wonwoo red hair happened and after that is This comeback announcement.

I will forever thank SVT for being the best group to me:) I’m glad that they are raising Mental health awarenesses because I, in fact, is participating in a program for this, too. So, having to see this makes me happy because I feel like they care so much about everybody and it warms me up. Seventeen is so consistent with talking about the stages in their life as they're growing. Every comeback since the beginning reflects the place they are in their lives in that moment in time. They also continuously reflect on where they come from. It feels like talking to your friends and revisiting precious memories . I love how genuine their music is.

This comeback will be so special to me. I love how Seventeen's music is not forced to have a good message. As a listener you can feel it, that what they want to tell us is sincere and they understand us cause they feel it too. That's why I'm not worried about their future, cause they just do what they want to do, they won't fall if they will keep on doing that. All their music up til now is classic, a 5 yr. old song but still sounds fresh, cause they don't go with trends! So carats be proud and do what you gotta do!
