My brother passed away last year, we were super close. This song means more to me than ever before. My heart breaks and I cry everyday since he’s been gone. All the dreams I had, all the memories I wanted to make with him are destroyed. The life without him makes me devastated. It’s the most depressing thing ever, he was my big brother and I was always his little sister he would look after. He always showed me love and concern and wanted me to be okay.
I hold on because I know he would want me to keep going and to continue. He would be mad at me if I just gave up on life so I’m going to keep going because I know that’s what he would of wanted.

It’s sweet that Billie is so close with her brother. I wish I had a relationship like that with one of my siblings. Used to, but… things happened. Not exactly sure what, but… now I’m working on learning to be lonely and being comfortable with the silence.

Her voice brings me out of depression 😔

This one is my favorite song from her. It hits home because I struggle with severe depression and my mind goes to very dark places sometimes and we often forget to appreciate those around us to lift us out of those places. This song tells a story that I think a lot of people miss.. her car is sinking further into the water and getting darker and darker and her brother stayed right there holding her hand as the water rises up.. its beautiful to see how much love they have and how he understands her pain and won’t let her drown alone. He will always be there no matter how dark her mind gets and how hard it is for her to hold on. It’s so beautiful and I hope everyone who sees this video can take a moment to appreciate how beautiful this is and how sad at the same time. Billie is the artist I resonate with to a spiritual level and I hope one day she’s able to overcome depression and experience this beautiful life with every moment cherished 🩷
