He never needs to take a step back. If they want to win a chip its going to have to be with Ben being the best player not Joel. Ben doesn´t need anyone else to get him the ball and that creates havoc for opposing coaches. There is no defense for a 6´11" guy taking the ball off the defensive glass and pushing it up the floor looking to get in the paint.
@@trainerrob1622 you can’t have watched this season and really think that. Embiids stats have been impressive by themselves, but he’s only playing 30 minutes a game and getting double teamed the whole game. There’s no defense for that either.
Someone needs to get the message to Ben to play like this all quarters.

In the regular season that works but in the playoffs that shit dont work. The opposing team already know that half his game is absent, so they just maximise using Ben's weakness against his whole team. A point guard that cant shoot or even attempt to shoot just cant win in the modern NBA.

Last week Ben Simmons was almost traded after been very loyal to the 76ers, however The coaches and general managers didn’t want him anymore. I feel that he was playing reluctant with pain and anger. I think he will eventually grow from this and become a better player.
