New Shepard flew again for the seventh time on Dec. 12, 2017, from Blue Origin’s West Texas Launch Site. Known as Mission 7 (M7), the mission featured the next-generation booster and the first flight of Crew Capsule 2.0. Crew Capsule 2.0 features large windows, measuring 2.4 feet wide, 3.6 feet tall. M7 also included 12 commercial, research and education payloads onboard. Crew Capsule 2.0 reached an apogee of 322,405 feet AGL/326,075 feet MSL (98.27 kilometers AGL/99.39 kilometers MSL). The booster reached an apogee of 322,032 feet AGL/325,702 feet MSL (98.16 kilometers AGL/99.27 kilometers MSL). - 과학기술

Там не было 0 гравитации нигде, лол. Gravity was almost the same as it was on Earth throughout the flight. About 95% of gravity remained at it's highest point. Spacecraft needs to accelerate to 25,000 mph obviously horizontally to get into orbit and then it will be 0 gravity. Rocket needs to get WAY WAY further than that to get into real 0 gravity.

What a massive leap forward with this rocket, everything looks so much smoother and those huge windows are just fantastic. The designers of this beauty have surpassed all understanding. The way that capsule blasts milliseconds of the ground to cushion the landing is wizardry in motion. What a fantastic machine.

Brooks Broox generally speaking yes it actually does look rather flat. But if you closely you can see a small curvature indicating a radius is present no matter how small. The curvature is there don't deny it, whether that means the earth is flat or round doesn't change the fact that a curvature is there.
I know man i'm just busting your balls. However until i see it for my self up from up there. There's always going to be that coocku flat earther voice in my head whispering "what if it is flat". lol
If you understand modern physics and mathematics then you will know that a flat earth is highly unlikely, pretty much impossible.

agree..... some of the noises I think I know what they were... others were like you said... spooky
The noises are mainly RCT reaction control thrusters that produce bursts of cold gas to keep the spacecraft oriented. After going to 330k' it comes down at about 2500mph. At 5:30 you can hear it hit the atmosphere, at 8:05 the chutes blast out and more RCT. 1 sec before it hits soil the rockets fires slowing it further for a soft touchdown.
Reminded me of Dead Space
If I were inside that rocket, every little noise would have me thinking "this is it, this is how I die".

The rocket launch is very smooth, reentry and landing are much more scary.
I thought just the opposite.... I found the landing to be much smoother than expeected... I guess I always worry on the way up about all that explosive and volatile fuel that you're sitting on top of.
If the rocket you're on explodes, I'm sure they'll issue a refund.
The New Shepard capsule is equipped with a launch escape system.
It didn't re-enter, because it didn't go into space.
It did go into space, it just didn't go into orbit. Re-entry is much easier when you're nice and slow.
That was....absolutely awesome! Loved hearing the orientation jets and oh, the blades coming out...they packeted a little jolt...but WOW, the ascent sound, that got me. I'm an old-timer. Half expected to see flashes of red fire outside, but then remembered how far we've come, and just enjoyed the ride down! So serene. My hat's off to you! Thanks for the opportunity to experience it!
Maybe one day the average person can save up and fly on this as easily as a trip to Disney World.

SPACE FOR ALL - With bellow idea, common people can have 'nearly' the same experience at less than $50 . In fact BO can do it themselves for millions of people who otherwise can't afford such experience in thier lifetime because of the price. Can see lot of comments here complaining about price being very high. Doing this can generate lot of goodwill and positive publicity for Blue Origin and get many people interested in space tech-travel.. something JB said he wants to do..
What if you make an exact copy of the non flying capsule - starliner ( interior and exterior), keep it on a mount inside a big elliptical shaped room whose walls and floor are created with hd-oled screen which will mimic "out of window" scenes of stratosphere ( from actual footage, selected best earth - space views). Additionally with mechanical movements of the craft, pre-recorded actual scenes and sounds, you can recreate the same experience one gets in space. ( from launch - in space to touchdown ) .. Barring zero gravity or weightlessness, you can create nearly the same experience those high paying customers are having but at a fraction of a cost ..may be as little as $50/-. Works in the same way those virtual flight simulators work, but on a much larger scale. On actual space flight you don't get to come outside the craft, you can just see what is outside the window sitting in the capsule. In fact you can virtually tour ( fly by- touchdown ) moon, and all the planets by using this idea ..

i wasn't convinced about those rockets that fire under the capsule right before it touches ground actually softened the landing. But this new camera inside put that to rest. What an incredible achievement they have made. I personally like what Blue Origin is doing over SpaceX but they aren't really doing exactly the same thing though. Amazing what they both are doing and will do in the near future.

That is the coolest video i've ever seen. As close as i think anyone who's not an astronaut got to experience sub-orbital flight. The sounds and no commentary was amazing. All i would have been thinking if i was in that capsule is, will this thing actually be safe, not break. Respect to all astronauts. Going to space is scracry stuff especially on maiden voyages on new designs.

The sound is amazing, and its so cool to hear thing like the first stage seperation and the whistling of re-entry, it seems so much more real. It makes me want to hear what it sounded like in the cabin of the saturn 5 during ascent.

No, he wouldn't have to. That is why +Air Command Rockets said "on the way down". As the capsule returns to the ground, before parachutes are deployed, it is in a state of freefall, only restricted by air resistance. Due to this, anybody inside the capsule, along with the capsule, would be near terminal velocity for a brief period of time, which is nearly equivalent to "zero-g" (it's actually called microgravity), giving the false feeling of a "gravity-free" environment for a short period of time.

That was fucking amazing. Blue Origin just killed it with this space footage. The sounds of the engine and all the gizmos was bloody great. Plus the sounds of the atmosphere, loved it. Also super clear to watch.

Absolutely amazing! I have never before seen an interior shot of a launch that was as silky smooth as this one. If they need a live test dummy, I'm up for it - tomorrow! While the odds of an old fart such as myself ever getting into space are pretty unlikely, I'd sure as hell take my chances if the opportunity ever fell into my lap. And that would be the only way it could ever happen, it would have to literally fall on me. Oh well, even old farts can dream. Good job Team Blue, keep it going!Cheers,jc
This! I love the ambiance -- the floating specks of dust as the capsule experienced weightlessness, the sounds & noises from the RCS thrusters, alarms, and the rushing air... The retrorockets firing moments before touchdown was also superb!
The re-entry was awesome! It's probably pretty intense and a little scary actually experiencing it in person though!

When you go on vacation but realize you rather just listen to your music and take a nap. All jokes aside was the sounds from the outside turned down slightly because I am amazed at how smooth and comfortable the ride on this rocker is. You guys just make it look so damn easy it's incredible !

Thank you so much for releasing this! Usually all the public gets to see is the rocket itself lifting off, and while that is an amazing sight to behold, it's something very special to be able to experience a launch like this - from inside the rocket!
It's fantastic to see the ascent towards the Karman Line, and the clear distinction between the sky and space suddenly becoming visible 😍
And the serene silence during those few minutes of weightlessness cannot be put into words! That was magic!

Claiming that blue origin is even close to keeping up with spaceX is a massive overstatement
Blue Origin doesn't need the hype and glory like SpaceX and Musk do. They're working on their own goals, in their own timeline, in their own way. They don't need your adoration and reassurance. Take a tour of the facility on Merritt Island some time, if you get a chance. You will be left speechless.
Amazing how little vibration was visible there, it almost seemed very smooth. From what I read in the description it reached 98 kilometres altitude and it seemed to stop engines after about a minute and a half. Holy crap, that must be pulling some very serious Gs to get that high that fast! I REALLY wish they'd shown telemetry data like speed, altitude and Gs on the screen.
