@@coreytaylor447 They said they're volunteering, which usually means not being payed. With the owner of BO being one of the richest people in the world I feel like paying these brave/hard workers during this messed up time would be smart, not just abusing them for a PR video.

@@FruitingPlanet its not just capitalism, its the greed of mankind. in every system there will be people to exploit the work of others. blaming one system is dangerous because we get the idea that 'if only we get rid of this one thing and it will get better' will always lead to disappointment and others getting power.

David, Amazon’s pays more than twice the us minimum wage and 150% of the German min wage for what is technically unskilled work. Amazon also offers insurance and benefits for both part time and full time employees.

both, face shields are heavily needed, and unlike ventilators they are pretty hard to get wrong and wont do much damage if they fail. the problem is just you need a large access to space and resources to mass produce them, which they have and are putting to good use.
at some point every company does something like this for PR, but if it actually helps and does good in the world who cares what their motivation is. its a win win in my books

probably because they don't work as closely with each other, I would think.

dont need to, face shields are easily sterilized and cleaned. unlike ventilators where you would have to clean every knook and cranny to get contaminants out.

These are volunteers, they do that in their freetime, bloodsucker Jeff isnt doing this, at least a donated 100m to the foodbank however that is strategy to silence the valid critizism of him abusing his workers and also Jeff has 117.3 billion USD, so that is 1/1173 of his wealth, i have like 6 k savings so that would be like i donate 5.11$, he could have easily donated a billion and it would not hurt his finance in any way.

tesla is making ventilators, Blue Origin is making face shields. two completely different pieces of heavily needed equipment. and Tesla's ventilators aint even done being prototyped yet
also your thinking of spaceX, Blue Origin is an aerospace company, not a car company
