i think it’s a bit of a paradox that they tell the girls “shut up don’t cry we’re professionals we know what’s good for you” and like half the makeovers are terrible or don’t make them look like models. i mean this season was one of the better ones, but a lot of others have this problem (one of the many problems in the show haha)

I really loved the way this young man verbalized his reactions to the makeovers. Good or bad, he was so respectful and kind, whereas many people in a position like he has are absolutely rude and hurtful. I don’t know him, I just stumbled across this video, but I can tell he has a good heart and will go far with his amazingly real charisma!

RIP to Jael from season 8. She struggled with addiction for a few years after the show, then got clean but sadly passed away from cancer shortly after.
The girl with the red hair and weave actually had to get it taken out because it was literally giving her bald spots and was insanely painful. She had been complaining about how much it hurt and everyone was calling her basically a cry baby for it. They didn't take her seriously till she showed someone the literal bald spots on her head.
This whole show is just a fucking nightmare starring Tyra as Freddy. It's like she only lives to terrorize these women.
I remember that! I felt so bad for her because I can only imagine how much pain she was in having her hair slowly ripped out of her scalp.
How awful I never like her on american top model I always thought she was horrible to her contestants. I thought she was very rude to others

It was the weave method… not everyone is meant to have their hair braided down. The white silky texture cannot handle the gripping and braiding. It’s not meant for them lol there’s other methods of installing extensions besides weave

Tyra makes everything about Tyra on any show she is on, period. She was on AGT, they got her out real quick. Now she's on DWTS. The first season she was on, she had a producer credit and was in all these over the top out fits and was over the top... this season they made an announcement Tyra was staying but they were bringing in Alonso as a co-host. It was a little better but the shows she's on she still thinks it's all about her and it makes them hard to watch. AGT is so much better with Terry Cruz as the host. He meshes well with the other judges and seems like a genuinely nice guy. Tyra will never have that.
