Some states require you be registered to the party you wish to vote for in the primaries. Yang is a democrat so you will have to register democrat if that's your state's rules. After you are registered just show up on election days and present your id..They will hand you a ballot and you fill in the bubble next to the candidate you wish to vote for.

My mom has problems with anxiety and insomnia. She just lays in bed, every night, worrying herself sick about the future. So i linked this interview to her so she could listen to it in bed. It worked! She actually relaxed and went to sleep within a few minutes because Yang sounded so soothing; he had such good ideas and qualities of leadership that she stopped worrying about the future and got some sleep! I just read an article. "The US is experiencing a widespread worker shortage. Here's why." Vox. March 18, 2019.
It even says that restaurant workers and hotel workers are in higher demand than engineers.
Also, every day 10,000 baby boomers retire. We actually need more people not less in the work force. The biggest generation is retiring. All the people replacing them in the work force plus the machines is still not equal to those retiring.
There's a need for both skilled and unskilled workers.
I'm beginning to think we actually need to worry about a worker shortage not an invasion of machines. 😱
Also, If everyone gets a ubi, it's cancelled out by rising costs caused by the influx of the extra money into the consumers market. The best explanation of this I've seen is a short cartoon video by Economist Thursday, made in 2014. It's title is,
"Why Don't We Print More Money?"
It imagines what would happen if the US government gave everyone money and shows that the prices would rise to consume all the money. I put it on a playlist of mine to make it easy to find, if you want to grab it from there. ☺

In theory, yes! I personally believe his offering with the UBI offering will not be enough overall to disrupt the power of the establishments. I feel that many will see the additional income as comfort. With that being said, I feel that the extra cash will give people a peace of mind. But I do see it being a problem overall unless if they were to give 1,000 everyday or every other week then that would be different. I believe people will then go insane if they were to receive that sort of deal. A thousand a month from the government every month extra is not enough to begin a revolution in my opinion between the corporations and gov. Do you believe if people were to receive a grand a week or every other week could that be the official turning point for society? I feel we would at least have to work at least 4 hours a day. But I also believe if it was to happen this way then it would be a problem for corporations perhaps gov establishment also. Any thoughts?

It's incredible how no matter which interview you watch with this guy, whether it's a left with or right-wing channel from Bill Maher to Ben Shapiro and Joe Rogan, the comment section is overall united and cancer free. I need to say this dude, when Yang says all these illegal immigrants that are coming in aren't affecting the job situation is a straight out lie. I love how he quotes Milton Freedman for supporting the UBI, which he did mention in one of his books. However, at the same time, Freedman knew that labor just like any good or service in the economy is subject to supply and demand. When you have too much of anything the price goes down. The same applies to labor. So how can one say that 10's of millions of people of working age here aren't driving down the cost of labor? here's a visual, If you invite someone in your home, usually they're polite, they take off their shoes, build up conversation and add value to your life. On the contrary, you have a guy who sneaks in the back door, he trespasses, breaks your trust, and has not gained an invitation. How has this become a partisan issue?? It is completely intuitive.

One of the best things about this guy is he doesn't attack anyone. He's reasonable and personable; after the shitshow that was the 2016 elections, I think America desperately needs a level headed bloke like this.

He is like no other candidate and does not waste time bashing other candidates to try and make himself look good. He just has great plans and policies to address the government's systemic issues, our Nation's social issues, monetary issues, etc. and all while staying positive, focusing on the issues even when others try to spout nonsense. He continues to stay focused on facts, data, etc. and offers solutions while promoting positivity & unity to help strengthen communities. This is truly the type of person we all dream of having as POTUS and an advocate FOR THE PEOPLE not for self promotion and personal gain!

I am a huge Trump supporter and die hard conservative but after listening to Andrew Yang I really want to see him as the next president. Americans need to unite around the Freedom Dividend. I have never voted in a presidential election, did not know what the primary elections were, I have never even thought about donating to an election campaign and have never been excited about a presidential candidate. All that has changed since seeing Yang on JRE and Shapiro, then watching him give interviews with Fox News and various other mostly online platforms.
He is smart, well spoken, uses numbers and statistics instead of playing on peoples fears and biases. He is not a 'Get elected at all costs politician' and not a 'Sleazy make money at all costs business man'. His policies are well thought out based on statistics, projections based on facts, and are geared toward not just the next four years, but the next 40.
If you are a reasonable person, you should support this man at yang2020 and then at the Primary or Caucus Elections. Look those up for your state on how, when, and where to vote. I'm officially a Yangster now.

You will see less homeless people, less prostitutions, less gangs, these people are not lazy, they are desperate. Let's say you become lazy and you stop coming to work half the time. Are you likely going to waste your time doing nothing? Even if people do, they will eventually get bored and do something meaningful. And the choice is still there when they turn around.

Having watched the first 3 debates only, I initially thought Yang's appearance during the debates were at best mundane and his platforms were about appealing to the disadvantaged social segment. But the interviews (such as this one, the Rogan and the Shapiro ones) reveal to me that every one of Yang's soundbites during the debate is indeed a well substantiated and rational agenda. This is satisfying.
