Only two songs this year (thanks to a certain health insurance video), which was quite painful due to my love of the Bee Gees and the fact that they made so many perfect songs for Halloween, but I hope you enjoy them nonetheless.
Thanks so much for creating these masterpieces to the whole HEE BEE BEE GEE Crew: Jonah Scott, Karen Han, Kevin Porter, and of course BDG! (or should it be BEE DEE GEE?) These ghoulish tunes are good enough to make every month spooky season.
Happy Halloween all! 🎃 🦇 🧛🏻
Maybe next year you’ll have time to revisit it haha
A fine collection to my playlist. Will RGSS ever come to Spotify?
Out of curiosity what other songs would you have done?
i for one think that they'd be perfectly appropriate for the holiday season or any time of year if you ever wanted to do more 😌🧡🖤
(but rest assured you have given us all far more than we could ever dream of/ wish for/ or deserve so thank you legend 😭🙏)
BDG’s ability to look like a different person in every video proves that Brian David and Gilbert are all separate entities.
Depending on how he shaves his facial hair, he can go from "Kurt Russel" to "Ned Flanders" to "weird twink"
Fairly sure that's just 2winz^2
I asked my SO if they were familiar with BDG and they looked him up. The response, "He looks like 8 different people in these photos, how am I supposed to know if I've seen him before?!"
the anti white-youtube-man
In the hats video he becomes like 40 as the song progresses
BDG has an absolute choke hold over the horror disco genre. Good luck to anyone trying to break into the industry
Danny Gonzalez is a good competitor but he stopped making scary songs agyear ago.

Scruffy bdg is an absolute gift. This man pulls off "nerdy waif" and "debonair scoundrel" equally well.
“debonair scoundrel”
That venn diagram is a circle
And he's fine as hell as both.
The ideal combination
Fancy word go brrr
I like the part with the lyrics "It's alright, it's okay" sung in a way that makes it clear that it is not alright and not okay. I felt that.

Bee Dee Gee's Hee Bee Bee Gees is possibly the best title I've ever heard. It's great on so many levels
Oh now I get it
It also took me about 4 tries to say correctly :)
He knocked it out of the park with the name. The song was just icing on the cake, to mix metaphors.
It feels vaguely inspired by another KRplus comment on his caterpillar video: BDG’s GDBs (gosh darn bees)
Ok I have to ask: Bee Dee Gee = BDG, ok. But why Hee Bee Bee Gees? Does HBBG stand for something I should know, or is it just that it comes as close to heebie jeebies that they can "legally" go after the parody band took it?
The shot of him not being reflected in the mirror at 2:28 but having it still reflect him taking the towel was so clean. This is magnificent.

That's how he got the lead role of Dr. Michael Morbius in Morbius (2022) as well
Killing them is such bad herd management practices though, much more effective to just drink from a few people a night and leave each of them to recover.
Brian single handedly saving the Halloween music genre is the funniest thing to me

Rhyming 'banshee' with 'jiangshi' is the lyric of the century
While it’s hard to not get distracted by the fabulousness BDG is radiating in this video, has anyone else made notice of the story going on in the music video itself? I’ve yet to see a comment talking about the story.
From what I can tell, it’s a tale of one succumbing to impulses that lead to reckless decisions during a time of distress. There is also a theme exploring the topic of dependency within this video’s narrative.
The video begins with the sound of Vampire Brian (VB) weeping and a shot of a break up letter accompanied by polaroid pictures of VB and Karen being adorable together. As a means of processing the grief of this break up, VB decides basically “Fuck it. I’m putting on my snazzy clothes, strutting through the city streets and dancing my sadness away.” It’s during the dancing scene when the random dude shows up that we witness VB succumbing to impulses and presumably lethally sucks the random dude’s blood. Which, considering the cinematography and editing of the dance scene after the blood consumption, succumbing to his impulse makes complete sense. Drinking blood from the tap seems to have intoxicating effects. VB seems like he’s in a euphoric high. But of course, the high has to end. And so we see that crash back to reality in the last scene of the video. Lights turned on, covered in the blood of his vices and sipping from the non-intoxicating blood of a blood bag. The biggest tragedy of it all being that VB’s drinking of the random guy’s blood (or perhaps more accurately the drinking of the random guy’s life) is the very thing that led to the break up. Part of the reason for the break up as described in the break up letter from the very beginning is because VB was sucking the life out of Karen. The consumption of a person’s life, the high from imbibing, the regret and sorrow after the crash and trying to cope with the regret and sorrow. If the narrative of this music video is any indication, Vampire Brian tends to maladaptively cope by restarting the cycle and consuming another person’s life.
Or maybe I’m full of shit. It’s 3 in the morning, I’m half asleep and I’m typing a mini essay in a KRplus comment for a Halloween theme parody song of disco classics. It’d be nearly miraculous if this comment makes any sense to me once I’ve gotten proper sleep.
Dude you are a sleep deprived genius
This is in true spirit of an unravelled video :>
No don't stop I love that

Apparently Brian can just slap on a pair of fangs and immediately have more charisma than most any other vampire out there. Magnificent.
I’d love if you could introduce me to these other vampires you know, I think I’m just their type (O-)
I think the beard & hairstyle help as well...he's not a weird Drac-type or a creepy sparkly vamp-hire.
You can just tell from the way he uses his walk
I never understood the sexy vampire trope until now.

Brian's walk is immensly powerful. It scares me with how much power it exudes simply by striding.

I believe it's just part of the disco genre. You gotta have a powerful stride if you ever want to make it onto the dancefloor
My immediate thought when the absolute intensity of each step threatened to knock me over
it's very appropriate for a vampire to create a thirst trap
See, this is just the natural evolution of their whole gimmick. As technology improved so too did their methods of luring people in.
Absolutely LOVE the choice to go more openly dancey with the production and arrangement instead of doing a straight parody. This will legit bounce at a party as it's own vibe instead of confusing folks into thinking it's the original with a different vocalist. The mix is so wide and tight. Love it.
I'm glad someone else noticed, the production and mixing is a major step up from last year. Comparing the drums on this and Lay All Your Blood On Me is night and day. Not saying last year's were badly mixed, but the improvement is really striking!
I’m convinced that Brian could make it as a full-time parody artist.
This is some weird al level content honestly
I wanna see him colab with JazzEmu
I wan to believe he is already doing exactly that.
@@beardedemperor the internet could not handle that, and what's more we do not deserve it

Anyone who knows of BDG -- and it honestly isn't anywhere near enough people -- should just consider how lucky they are to be in the know. Brian is either trying new things or pushing his craft, but if there's one thing I've never really seen him do, it's rest on his laurels. And, like, he could. His content would still be AMAZING.
But the fact that he always swings so hard at this makes him EXTRAORDINARY. Any day with new BDG content is at baseline a good day in my book.

@@ToriKo_ I'm no expert, but my thought is that they chose that angle very carefully so he could record it from there without him appearing in the mirror until he interacts with it. So then it's a matter of editing out one shot's mirror where he appears into one where he doesn't. That, or maybe more likely, they had the shot planned out so well that Karen shot it the exact same way with and without Brian and then they just mixed the two shots together.
