    - getting shot at by pirates (simplified)
    - drifting into a vortex
    - getting overwhelmed by waves
    - a medival catapult chugging stones are you from a different plane of exsistance
    - a totally not phallic waterpump totally not taking using your ship as a toilet
    - the giant skycrane dumping rocks on your head for 3 years

    That vortex is surprisingly brutal!
    For the wave generator, it looked to me like the tank wasn't long enough for it to shine. A longer tank might have let it make more interesting waves.

      I'd say a change in depth at the far end would be really interesting.

      You can calculate the resonance of the tank for the length and depth and work out the best wave period.

      problem is also that the amount of water that was moved was on the small size, most wave generators I have worked on use a segmented wall that hinges at the bottom of the tank or one that moves then entire wall back and forth. with the amount of water that is moved then you can create very large waves in seconds. (Large Wave Flume (GWK) in Hannover for example)

    I used to do experiments like this as a kid all the time with my LEGOs. The coolest thing I built was an under water cave that had an actual air pocket with a floating dock that was anchored to the pool floor. I had a REALLY fun childhood.😊

      you were actually able to get an "under water power unit" for some of the boats. My brother has/had a lego fire fighter boat that you could clip a little underwater prop on the hull. I have a speed boat that allows the same attachment. Look up Lego kit 4031; the back of the hull had a little pin mount where a torpedo style drive unit could clip into.

      Legos trap a ton of air inside, so the boats can float for normal reasons but they even start floating after capsizing and even normal Lego builds float because of all the air trapped inside. I used to play with legos in the bathroom sink because most builds float easily

    I work on ships, this guy built a stability simulator with legos meanwhile at an academy they pay big money for almost the same thing but more complicated. simply amazing

      All these boats use a similar one piece hull structure to ensure they float and don't leak. If the hulls were constructed using regular bricks, there's a 0% chance any would float

    The time and money going into this. Yeesh! I used to build in the 90s with whatever we had. We made submarines, colonial ships but extra big. Space ships etc. real fun.
