For q 19 the eye is 6,the ball is 4 and the gem is 4, so the answer is actually 4-6+4=2

We shall add before subtracting.... so we get 6 + 4 = 10 and 4 - 10 = -6

@@huzefa6421 that's not how it works, using bodmas u would do the 4+4 first and then the - 6 which still gives you 2, it's essentially the same, but the - sign is attached to the 6 so u can't just move it around as u please

I don't think they understand that addition and subtraction have the same precedence, leading them to believe that addition is always before subtraction as the way pemdas is ordered.

Question 18 should have been 2, but since it wasn't listed, the puzzle had to be switching the order of the - with the + to be equal to any of the answers which was the digit 6, but it was actually -6.

I really enjoyed doing the test . According to your answers, my score should be 18 because I was in other opinion about the anwers of questions 15 and 18.
BUT:
Question 15 could have 2 possible answers: 1. sadness (negative emotion) which is different from the other 3 (positive emotions);
2. hope - verb vs. the other 3 - nouns (every three of them ending in -ness).
I also think that there is a mistake in the anwer of question 18. It should be 2.
I'd say many of these questions are far too easy for a IQ test. But I'm not disappointed because I didn't expect an accurrate test from Bright Side in 13 minutes.
They may be easy in themselves but there is a 7-second time limit for each, don't forget.
@@ElizabethBrendaLo I just meant that an IQ test doesn't have basic alphabetization on it, that's all. The test definitely had some difficult bits because of the time limit. It made it more difficult to get some of the more complex puzzles. I got a couple of those wrong (for lack of time). These questions might be on a real IQ test but with more time than 7 seconds to figure out.
i could answer all of these questions given a bit more time, I think this test should be more directed towards how fast your brain can work.

Lol. I didn't realize that 19Q had a formula. Since the prev number was 54, noticing the sequence I just split 54 as 5 and 4, and added them. Then combined all 3 digits as 594.

Many said about the 19th question, however there should also be a look at the 20th. There is a pattern in fact, just look up. It's going from right to left, which is the opposite of the option B. The most accurate answer would be option C. Also, every other does follow the same pattern, just in different directions. The right one goes up, the left one goes down and the down one goes to the right.
for question 9 , A can also be the answer as all of other polygons are concave polygons while A is the only convex polygon
Loved the test but I really think you guys should review Q15 and Q18. On Q15....Hope is more substantive than an emotion or as a verb, it would be more akin to I wish. Then on Q18....the answer should be 2. The eight ball is 4, the eye is 6, and the diamond is also 4.

Wrong. Emotion is defined as a conscious mental reaction (such as anger or fear) subjectively experienced as strong feeling. Hope IS an emotion, you can feel hopeful, just like anger is an emotion, you can feel angry.

In 10:21 has the wrong answer. It is actually two. Cause if a diamond is 4 and an eyeball is 6 and an eightball is 4. So the equation is 4-6+4 =2. And yes it is kind of confusing that the diamond has the same value as the eightball.
The result of the calculation 4 - 6 + 4 is 2.
That's why PEMDAS exists
For q13 you could think of the shape as 2 squares, the square that has all four numbers already filled in (5, 5, 6, 1)
The one that has the same number [in this case 5] the other two numbers subtract to get that number (the larger subtracts the smaller)
Thus, for the other square (4, 4, 7, ?) The number that has the same number repeated twice (4) You would subtract 4 from 7 (7-4=3)
Therefore the answer could be 3 :')

The part that is missing from the dress must be equal to the price of the belt, see the dress price is 720+price of the belt, we know that the total price is 830 so we do 830-720=110 . In those 110 that are missing we know that the belt and what is missing of the price of the dress are there and that they are equal so we simply divide it by 2 which give us 55, then we add them to 720 and its 775 . Therefore x is 55 or you can say belt is 55. Now for dress you have two ways, either do 830 - 55 = 775 or as we mentioned earlier dress is x + 720 = 55 + 720 = 775. To verify he said dress is 720 more than belt so 775 - 55 = 720 and total was 830 , so 775 + 55 = 830.

another explination for Q19 is to split the two digit numbers, add them togheter and then put the added number in between the two you split. Like the first which is 15, 1 and five makes 6, so the new number will be 165. This works with them all. Next one, 297. 2+7 is 9 so the three digit number will then be 297 and so on. So no need to multiplie.
I think the answer of Q20 is C because the 4 white triangle are moving counterclockwise.😮

It could also be argued on question 6 that a chapter is not strictly informational while an index, glossary, or book could all be associated with pure information.

on q 19, you can arrive at the correct answer of 594 by adding the previous 2 digit number together to placing that sum in the middle of the previous 2 digit number to create the new 3 digit number. much faster than multiplying by 11 in my head.
Q17, We can immediately cross off C from the board it's obvious it's not allowing us to give an answer that is by itself a decision,
So "Some men are kings." would mean that not all men are in fact kings so excluding the further statement/answer a, "All kings are men." And so is the second statement and the one that follows since if all kings have golden crowns then it would be referring to all men which was already proven to be false so it would mean both B and E would be incorrect leaving only D to be the correct answer

I have realized some errors in the mathematics of this IQ test. For example, 1/3 and 1/4 combined when subracted from 9,000 is 2,000, and $830-$110=$720, which means that the dress should have costed $720. Also the test doesnt even tell the viewer their IQ in numerical form. After several IQ and mental age tests and calculating the averages of them both, I have concluded that my IQ is anywhere between 184 and 400.
I agree about errors. #18 is incorrect and makes no sense.
However #11 the dress and belt is correct. The dress is 775 which is 720 more than the belt (775-720=55)
So 775+55=830
Also #4 is correct
1/4 of 2/3 of 9000.
The 2nd part. 1/3 of 9000 is 3000, so 2/3 of 9000 is 6000.
1/4 of 6000 is1500.
Another way is 1/4 x 2/3 = 2/12 = 1/6
1/6 of 9000 = 1500
The Question 7 is very dependent on the way you see it. He says "book" is the odd one, because the others are parts of the book, but I see it like glossary is the odd one, cuz it's not usually a part of a book, the others are. It really depends on the perspective.

For the “17 23 16 24 15 25 14” one I did it differently but got the same answer, 23 is 17 increased by 6, 16 is 23 decreased by 7, 24 is 16 increased by eight, 15 is 24 decreased by 9, 25 is 15 increased by 10, 14 is 25 decreased by 11, and 26 is 14 increased by 12
