    -As soon as you decide to remove junk food from your diet, your calorie intake will significantly decrease.
    -If you replace junk food with vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and lean meat, you'll be giving your body the fuel it needs, like fiber, calcium, protein, and an array of vitamins.
    -When you cut out the junk and include more fruits and veggies in your diet, your body gets the "bricks" it needs to build a strong defensive system.
    -Fatty greasy foods contain a lot of sodium, which can result in high blood pressure and kidney disease.
    -As soon as you exclude junk food from your diet, your skin will steadily get healthier and clear up.
    -Unprocessed food and lean protein actually helps build strong and healthy muscles.
    -When you reduce the amount of sugary junk food in your diet, your sleep becomes more restful.
    -As soon as you start supplying your body with the stuff that it desperately needs, you’ll feel much better, and, thus, your mood will improve too.
    -The best foods for the eyes are those that contain a lot of lutein and beta-carotene, and you won’t find them in junk food.

    -Processed junk doesn’t contain the omega-3 fatty acids needed for healthy hair.

    i gave up junk food on 1st january, 2019, and i have lost 14 lbs so far (today is 1st feb). my heaviest before january was 210 lbs at the age of 16. i now weigh 196!

      Not just junk food but store bought food. I fasted for 7 days. Then ate frozen waffles (after heat ing them up of course.) And had pizza and a soda later on. I couldn't even finish the waffles nor the soda. Now I'm passing gas nonstop. Smells like sulfur! Need to eat only grown foods. Don't shop at stores. And burping. As I first started eating the food it didn't taste like I remembered. I can't eat as much sugar now. I'm going to go back to fasting. Also while cutting down to eating once a day for three weeks and then fasting for 7 days - I lost inches off my waist bust and hips.

      I know right! I have been craving a salad so badly, and the thought of a burger/fries makes me want to throw up. My life has changed so much in just 2 weeks just by making simple changes to my diet and life style.

    I'm 5'9" and 85-90% of my diet(maybe even 95%) used to consist of junk food. I weighed 300 pounds. Then I decided to cut out sodas and lost 20 pounds. Then I cut out junk food and I've lost nearly 70 pounds! I now weigh 210. Yes I do have a soda or a peice or 2 of junk food but I do excersise at the gym. My goal is to weigh 180. I haven't weighed that much since 6th grade

      When you buy things like cabbage, oranges, apples, brussel sprouts, carrots, and broccoli you'll probably spend the same amount or less.. only difference is you'll be spending time cooking it. It's kind of refreshing chopping your own things and cooking them up gives you a sense of "hey I did it by myself and my body loves it" it's great. you should definitely go look in your local grocery store for poops and giggles. Virtually slap me if I'm wrong about the prices.

    I have stop junk food for the last 4 weeks and I feel amazing!! I'm transitioning to be a vegetarian/ vegan but I can't stop eating fish.     I’ve been going healthier for a week and drinking way more water,before I drank around 500 ml of water daily,now I’m drinking 1.5 liters and I’ve seen a minor change in skin and digestion,definitely looking to eat better for the rest of my life!

    I really enjoyed this video. Thank you. I have 2 teenagers I shared it with. It was put together nicely & very informative. And the but about your brain learning to change w your eating habits, is true. You will really crave good food. My husband & I use to always crave a watermelon, pineapple & strawberry fruit platter @ Vons grocery. Sad to say we are more on the process side now😖 but this video was some nice motivation 😉

I have MS/Multiple Sclerosis & I’m unable to stand very long at a time to prepare nutritious meals but I do know for a fact that in my worst days, when I have no choice but to grab junk food, I really feel it for days. I feel sluggish, depressed & I sleep a lot. This has given me the motivation to try to see how I feel without junk food for the next week! My adult Son will be out in the morning to take me grocery shopping. We usually do lunch when we go but I’ll be sticking to the soup & salad bar! As always, TYFS. {{{HUGGZ}}} ~Su

      get some of those Honey Crisp Apples,they are great put them in the fridg and let them get cold and you will love them I love Honey Biscuits they are the best junk food I can think of and corn bread and october beans with fried taters and onions now that is great.lol

      SURAJ GAJHANS ibs is no joke. Some healthy foods give me ibs but I is still find a way to eat healthy regardless. Protein veggies and fruit are all the body really needs. That other stuff wasn’t meant for the body to consume.

    Going to try this out with my dad since we both want to be very healthy and I’m trying to lose more weight but in a healthier way.
    *what I did notice from losing weight*
    This year I only got sick once
    I started craving for more healthier foods
    I was more awake then my friends at school
    My acne was clearing up more and wasn’t so bad
    And lastly, I lost weight (obviously)
    So basically what BrightSide said in this video is proven to be true well at least for me.

    I quit 80-90% of junk food nearly 2 years now, and I feel good but still I’ll get some chips and sugar-sweet deserts......😅😅😅, I wasn’t in weight loss but just lost my taste buds for a lot of food, and I do feel great and look excellent! Definitely a good thing to quit !👍❤️🌞

    Superb video and is very very helpful. I have made my own diet plan as per requirement of my body. I take 200ml coffee with 1 wheat roti in breakfast. After 3 hours I take a small meal like a fruit. At 1:30pm I take my lunch and at 5:30pm I take green tea. At 8:00pm I take a light dinner something made with Rice. Just this. no junk food.

      +Damon Ormsby I was eating a lot of junk food even 4 days a week.. I am from Gujarat, India and we are famous for sweets. But then I realize that these all junk foods are not for my body. I eat them just for fun of my tongue. Am I wise or Foolish? Then I started to remove one by one bad foods from my list. First I stopped eating Packaged foods. then I decided to eat junk food one day a week.

    It is April 6, 2020. The last time I weighed myself it was before the shelter in place. I was about 350. I’ve been sheltering in place and eating home cooked meals and weighed myself this morning; Im 342. I’ve noticed that I’m not craving burger and fries. Had a pizza craving a few days ago, haven’t craved food or many sweets. Im excited that Im losing weight due to better nutrition!
