i heard on twitter that some japanese armys were saying that they were happy for international armys for getting an english song since they get japanese songs all the time, i just thought that was a nice way of thinking of it. since k-armys and j-armys get songs in their language all the time, it's nice that i-armys will have a song in english to listen to

They are all like 40 year old judges who have zero clue what music is even in tune nowadays, so I gave up on them a long time ago. I realized a Gramny isn't worth as much as we think it is for this reason, but nonetheless it's the boys biggest goal, and we will do anything to get the dub for them.

To be honest I think BTS has already conquer USA market without any English song! They sold out Wembly/ Rose Bowl without any English song.
It's the racist USA media who is not going to take BTS seriously because BTS do not sing in the language they want every artist to sing!!! It's racist a ****, but what to do, it's USA mentality. @@twilightdrugee the US media is not racist. Inconsiderate and proud yes, perhaps a bit narcissistic, but they aren't racist. K-pop comes with far too many lines they aren't allowed to cross and with a language barrier it's kinda like why bother getting an interview or doing a press event. While idols do study English, many are not ready to take on America because they aren't fluent, which makes the flow of the interview weird and it becomes awkward when the interviewer doesn't know how to react to their lack of English or the jokes they make in Korean that only then and their fans understand. Then they ask the same basic questions over and over because they don't know what else to talk about. Now me personally I think they should look into any and every article and interview with BTS so they have some inkling as to what to talk about, even if it's old news. Like JK's mixtape; they could ask about possible inspirations, what genres it'd consist of, who'd he feature on it, how his writing and producing process goes, etc. Y'know, engage and take interest in other things that they do besides the basics. Honestly I agree, America could and should be doing better than what they are.
However, kpop fans are also a problem. K-pop fans have far too many lines people can't cross and far too many eggshells people have to walk on or around. I get it, we want top tier treatment for top tier artists, completely understandable. BTS are not top tier in America because most of America doesn't even know they exist, let alone any names, songs, or anything past their gorgeous faces. Hell I bet most of them could barely tell them apart. The public doesn't care so the media would just be wasting time interviewing people and making videos on foreign celebrities only a small niche of the nation cares for. That's not to say that only 50 kpop fans exist in the US but even if it were 5 million of us there are still about 325 million others who could care less about Kpop, a couple of which who might acknowledge they're pretty or can dance and might like a song or two.
So it's not the media that's racist, America in general just doesn't care enough about Kpop to give it that top tier label.

Jungkook’s solo part was the highlight for me😭. His intro was so powerful. He sets up the mood for the song so well. His pronunciation was so good almost like a native speaker. His high note and adlibs at the end were insane too. He was feeling the vibe of the song. He completely smashed this concept🔥. I loved the song so much😊.

About a fully English BTS song...no one said anything when WavY came out with an all English song, right? So...what's up?
They're just being nitpicky because RM said in an interview BTS wouldn't do a full English album because they wanted to stay true to themselves and their music. I remember them saying Album not song, but I could be wrong.
This technically isn't the first full English song that they've done. Though it will be the first one they do as a group.
People need to remember things can change. Also I wouldn't be surprised if more of the group is more comfortable singing in English now then they were back when they did their interview. I mean they just sang a bunch of Christmas songs last year in English so yeah. There was no need to be shocked by it.
Idk if you can consider Wayvs song ALL English song since it had Korean, Chinese also but I see what you're saying. It's most likely because both are such different groups and how its normal for nct to release English songs all the time. Either way people shouldn't try controlling bts's choice to make an English song. They should be happy they're getting one in the first place.

I’m happy they are doing a English song. Idk why some are mad or offended that they are doing a song in English?! It’s crazy but I’m glad they are changing things up. I think they mad because they know BTS are gonna break new records and are gonna grow even bigger in the American music charts.
Honestly the last part sounds rude. There’s nothing wrong with kpop idols just singing in korean, likewise there’s nothing wrong with kpop idols branching out and singing in English.
