Ferchi s it’s just surprising to most of us because Lisa is a funny, loving and such a nice person when in blackpink but now we’ve seen her as a mentor she’s so different like she’s strict, assertive but in a good way cuz that’s what mentors are meant to do, but everyone loves this side of Lisa, she’s so feisty. That’s why she’s the main dancer

It's understandable that Lisa is strict because she had a hard training when she was still a trainee in YG. YG artists are the most scary mentors especially Hoony, GD, B.I and now Lisa. Just like what Jinu said, the training in YG is like a survival show without a camera. So, no wonder why they are so scary because they wanted to apply it to the trainees to become better.

exactly. it would be a completely different story if she was like "are you dumb? why r you not doing this correctly" and only insulted them instead of helping them improve.. but thats not what she did. at all. she gave GOOD constructive criticism and helped the trainees fix their parts. as someone who does dance, i went to some studios where the some of the instructors were too scared to sound "rude" so they didnt nitpick or point out anyone's mistakes. and honestly u cant grow as a dancer or as an artist without that feedback. now, my instructors will do what lisa is doing, and it works. idk man i just hope people get their heads out of the asses and look at it from a dancers perspective.

This is YG training. They are perfectionists. Starting from YG himself to everyone. Like GD said " if it is just about putting out music, then can do that every week if they want to. But, in YG it is about the perfect music at the perfect time. Everything must be perfect." That is the YG way and that is why their artists comebacks take the longest. As an old school YG stan, that is the first thing you will learn, is to be patient because once they have a comeback it will blow your mind.

The worse one is when they make us run in the blazing heat with all our gear on in boots for a mile, then straight back into practice and scenarios. I’d have cotton mouth no matter how much water I’d drink. I was constantly angry at my members cause I was already a returnee and had been through punishments before from my last group only to do it all over again.

I don't understand why it shocks so many people that Lisa is strict in practically 4 years of career she never made any missteps. She has always been perfect in all areas. Lisa has always been the most smiling and it's not because she's necessarily happy it's just professionalism. So it doesn't surprise me that she is a perfectionist and she must surely be very hard with herself just to see her journey since she is young she has always given herself thoroughly. She always pushes her limits to be the best. A truly admirable journey, the first on 4000 in auditions in Thailand after she arrives in a foreign country where she is trained by the best teachers in one of the strictest agencies, knowing that in addition she did not know how to speak Korean at all she had to adapt to learn as quickly as possible and despite everything as Jennie said in an interview that when she was trained "Lisa always got an A for everything", it simply means that Lisa was always at the top of their monthly evaluations, whether it was dancing, rapping , compose or sing. She is truly incredible, she is not human.

That’s why she’s on the show doing what she’s doing. I’m actually not seeing anything really harsh. She’s teaching them how to translate what you see to what your body is doing. She’s showing them dedication, how to push themselves, to keep going, and how to feel the music. If you’re not feeling it, it’s not going to look good. In the end, she’s going to have helped their confidence tremendously.

I don´t think that is entirely correct. A bad face or a rough tone definitely has an influence that is not always positive

    • @hushhushyou
      @hushhushyou 4 년 전 +15

Jess Mansilla While I agree that there are different methods that may work better depending on the student’s learning style, that kind of practice is better suited for a more lax environment - such as weekly classes you are paying to take. It is not suitable for competitions or idol training such as this. The industry will not hold your hand if you do not get it. That is why mentors, such as Lisa, teach the way they do. The idol industry is cut throat and it’s all about time & money - they can’t afford to adapt their teaching to fit each individual trainee. So, yes you are right, maybe that trainee could’ve excelled better if Lisa was afforded the time to help her in different way. But since this is a competition show, it just doesn’t make sense to adapt to a different method for ONE person. It’s a business at the end of the day and that kind of teaching takes time so it would be costly considering Lisa is getting paid for her time there.

The trainees are divided in rankings from letters A to F. You can tell that she is more stricter with specific rank groups, cause their skills are weaker compared to the others. She is trying to get the most out of these trainees and i hope that people realize that this is what they need if they wanna make it. I’ve seen mentors being way stricter than this, this isn’t even that bad.

  • @alanisevangelista6142

People don't realize that in the world of dance, you have to get the steps and the attitude prefect in an audition and you have to get it quick. If you don't get it, you get cut. It's a tough world out there in the performing arts and if you can't get it, you will be cut within a second. Lisa is showing these girls tough love and what it takes to be an idol. Because if they can't get it here, how will they be able to survive when they become an idol?

And a bad habbit and honestly yeah she has to be strict but that the only way u will learn a Mature mind will not cry but find or ask how to fix it or do better.

I honestly think Lisa wasn’t that strict. I’ve watched some other shows where chinese idols were way more strict. I personally think all the judges in this survival show is a bit easy on them. Like straight of the bat, most were placed in D and F’s. And in this show many were actually in B and C’s.

Lisa is like my accounting teacher.
She's strict, but she made sure we all got what she teached. Lisa is like that.
Sure people won't like her for being strict, but she's the reason I got good grade for Accounting. Same as Lisa. She will not have her students goes out unprepared and culture-shocked with criticism and new dance moves. Lisa is training their minds to get tougher, changing their mindset that they're there to win, not to be in the spotlight and then get eliminated, either after debuted or while in the show

If she is being nice, and haters will say “she’s too weak for train them” “why they choose lisa, she can’t train them well” and bla bla bla
She and her teammates (jisoo jennie rose) on her spot rn, bcz of the hard and painful training, they had to push themselves away from their expectations.
So haters, stay away from her, she know what she’s doing, she became a trainee for 5-6 years before debuting as an idol.

Youth With You (used to be Idol Producer) is a Chinese version of the Produce 101 series (the show that made IOI, Wanna One, IZ*ONE and X1). It’s a survival show where 100 trainees from different companies from all over China compete and through a series of evaluations, trainees that are not high up in the ranks get eliminated. The top 9 trainees chosen by the viewers will then debut as a temporary girl group.
This is the third season of the show. The first two seasons were for male trainees and we got Nine Percent from season 1 (the guy who rank #1 and was the center of the group, Cai Xukun, is the current host/representative of this new season and part of the mentoring team with Lisa, Ella and Jony J) and UNINE from season 2.

I really appreciate you supporting Lisa's strictness in the video. Women often get hated on for being tough, strict, or flat-out blunt with their criticism. Tbh I was surprised that some of the contestants said they practiced so much because they weren't dancing as precisely as I'd have expected if they had worked so hard, and if I were Lisa I'd have been disappointed. So thanks for sticking up for Lisa's tough love in the video.

Lisa is in a Chinese produce 101 kind of programme. She is the dance mentor for this programme and it is like 109 girls trying to debut in a 9-people group. And there’s a lot of dope performances already out and there’s like full episodes of the programme on with English sub as well!! Please react to some. I do think that Lisa is the best dance mentor anyone can have, she is so strict on detail and it’s soooo worth it for these trainees because they need these masterclasses from a person like her!!! The programme is called Youth with You2. Youth with you1 and Idol Producer was hosted by Lay from exo and Idol Producer is where the Youthwithyou2 Representative KUN debuted as Center!!!
