jk mentioned how this song was created recently on vlive w suga. he said he wanted to make a song for festa in which he showed his emotions towards us army, he said he was one day in his dark room w the AC on ( as he mentioned in the lyrics ) & he came up with a melody, then added some lyrics and kept working on it then sent it to one of bighit producers and they kept sending the song back and forth until they were satisfied with it.

Almost like my heart aches… I feel weird and tingly in a bittersweet way on my stomach and chest… like this song and got7’s JayB ‘rainy’ that he performed on ‘Hyena on the keyboard’. I swear those two songs just give me an emotion I haven’t felt before. It almost feels like that just broken up feelings when your heart drops to your stomach and you try to catch your breath and you could cry but just not in that negative context but more… i don’t even know.
