Yes, Super Junior know exactly what they are doing. They haven't been in the business for this long without knowing how to continuously remake their style and sound to keep themselves relevant and fresh. That is why even after almost 15 years they still dominate in everything they do.
The song for "2Ya2Yao" was a collaboration between SJ and Zico, who is a solo hip-hop artist and producer, as well as a member of the Kpop boy group Block B. He is a Kpop artist who isn't even under SM Entertainment. Zico produced this song, and Shindong -- one of the members of Super Junior -- directed and produced the MV. Shindong has his own video production company and he is quickly becoming well known for his directing and video editing skills, as well as a rapper, dancer and singer of one of Kpop's legendary groups.
Super Junior are the ones that create the trends and aren't afraid to do something different. They are a group that BTS and EXO look up to and respect. BTS and EXO hope to follow in SuJu's footsteps and still be as popular and relevant when they have been in the business as long as Super Junior has been. BTS and EXO are babies compared to SJ. Super Junior have been in the industry for about twice as long as BTS and EXO, and the things that SJ have done in the industry are why BTS and EXO are able to reach such a large audience and become as popular as they are. Super Junior is one of the main groups who brought Kpop to the world.
You're right 2Ya2Yao" is much more hip-hop heavy then a lot of Super Junior's songs. Zico said he wanted to make a song for SJ that had the style and sound that the young kids are coming out with, to prove that SJ still are on top of the game. But if you haven't heard any of SJ's hip-hop influence previous to this, then you just haven't heard enough of their songs or performances from them. if you want to hear more of SuJu's hip-hop/darker style, check out Super Junior-D&E's song "Danger."
Super Junior have always been ahead of their time. They have such a wide range of songs and styles that they appeal to almost everyone, you just have to find your jam. For example, they are one of the first groups to take their style and sound to Latin America. One of their recent styles of music is Latin infused Kpop and they have been working with famous Latin artists, collaborating to combine Korean, Spanish and English to create a perfect blend of cultures, paving the way in a new direction that has never been done before. Latin America is pretty much an untapped market when it comes to Kpop, and Super Junior have a very large Spanish-speaking fan base, so for the past couple of years they have been producing music for their Latin fans and focusing concert tours and promotions in South America.

Their previous album Time Slip is their 9th full length album, and this repackaged album, Timeless, adds 4 new songs to the mix, which includes "2Ya2Yao". Their discography also includes a multitude of mini albums. Plus, they have 5 sub-unis -- Super Junior-K.R.Y. (made up of Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Yesung -- SJ's main vocalists), Super Junior-D & E (made up of Donghae and Eunhyuk), Super Junior-T (Trot -- which is like a cross between the equivalent of western old-style country music and cabaret music. Its older-style Korean pop music that's all about being kind of cheesy, fun and over the top.), Super Junior-M (Mandarin Chinese) and Super Junior-H (Happy). And they have 13/12 members in total, and most of them also have solo tracks and albums.
So yes, they have plenty of songs to check out, as well as numerous live performances and concert footage. Super Junior was the first group to ever hold 100 concerts back in 2014, and there have been dozens more since then. I guarantee that Super Junior has done pretty much every type of music in their career -- from hard core rock with songs like "Don't Don" to cute and funny like "Cooking Cooking" by Super Junior-H. Whatever style you are in the mood for, you can find a SuJu song that fits that genre.

It's Chinese number system. Korean uses both a Sino-Korean number system, where 이 (i) is 2, and a pure Korean system, where 둘 (dul) is 2.

This is the most complete suju has been in just about a decade. They've all finished they're service just this past year. They've also been doing this for a good 15 years too, so they're one of the longest running kpop groups...like ever. Thats 15 ACTIVE years. They're incredible. Check out some of their solo work! Super Junior is definitely a vocal-focused group, all of them can sing, but their main vocals are the Super Junior KRY, Kyuhyun Ryeowook Yesung. If you want to check out more SuJu, I suggest you check out SUPERMAN live performance during SMTOWN or Super Show 4!

To answer your question “are they even saying the title track?”
Yes they are, they are saying the number 2 in Sino-Korean (there is sino and native Korean, just depending on what that certain word or number is being used) which is 이(ee) so they are actually saying 이야이야오 (ee-ya-ee-ya-oh)
