Yes, there is a huge story ever since their debut. They told you themselves when you interviewed them.
Soo apparently there is a good and bad Ateez. The good Ateez are trying to get their treasure (success I believe) and bad Ateez are trying not to allow them. Soooo lots of things happens in between pirates king to wonderland but all I know this song they are friends with the bad Ateez. But some says their drinks have been poisoned. And good Ateez won this battle. Buttt I have no idea who this random person is at the end. I dont think anyone knows. Maybe a new concept?? New era?? New enemy?? Or maybe one of themselves!!

People are saying the man in the mask could be jongho! Because he was holding a telescope. And in the concept pics jongho had a telescope on his plate and in the illusion MV jongho also has a telescope

remember when wonderland era where cameraman had to find San where he's gone missing at the last dance break. 😂

the table scene is more of an homage to “Say My Name” with the scene of each member giving themselves and each other death stares. the continuation as well as recap of their career so far is beautiful. of course the storyline is well thought too, the fantasy of some bros trying to fight their way to the “treasure” only to be confronted with the real aspect of their worse enemy, themselves.

I’ve come to a point where I just enjoy the MV and leave all the theories to the “clued on” Atiny’s 😂

The “Hala Hala” Ateez is the bad Ateez & they have been against the good Ateez since the beginning I guess to find the treasure but they are finally meeting.

When he said “are those the hats from Hala Hala” First I didn’t understand what he was saying I’m like what kind of language is he speaking.

My own theory as to the ATEEZ Treasure Saga: (emphasis on "my own")
*1. Pirate King & Treasure era* - ATEEZ have gathered together with one goal in mind, and it is to find their "Treasure". They don't know what it is yet just that "it is calling for them" and that everyone wants it. So they are looking for people (Atiny) who "will be their friends" and go with them on their journey to find it.
*2. Say My Name & HALA HALA era* - Comes before Pirate King and Treasure era because at the end of Say My Name MV, the intro of Treasure plays. It shows ATEEZ who have not met each other yet and are stuck within their own worlds to deal with their doubts and insecurities (in Say My Name MV they each have different sets but all of them are unable or unwilling to get out of it, trapped almost). It is the first appearance of "Dark ATEEZ" (HALA HALA) that shows their, not necessarily evil, but insecure and darker side who "deep in their hearts," also yearn to break free and feel alive but are holding themselves back.
*3. Wave & Illusion era* - ATEEZ have finally set out on their journey together and dream about all the wonderful, and sometimes unbelievable, things they might encounter (Illusion MV) now that they are finally free. This is the era of their fun and exciting adventures as they strengthen their bonds and prepare themselves for all the hardships they will eventually encounter no matter how big by simply saying "Hakuna Matata," or "don't worry."
*4. Wonderland era* - They have resolved themselves to finishing their journey since they are already so close to their destination ("Why stop here? This is finally what you've been looking for"). They know that there is no more going back but they march on (hence the marching band in the MV) together without regrets. They will get there and obtain their treasure even if it means "breaking down the walls."
*5. Answer era* - They have finally found what they were looking for, their "Answer". They are celebrating how far they've come ("Let's make a toast like the thunder") but also making sure not to forget where they came from ("the desert with nothing in it, that's where we started") and the companions they made along the way. They have also made peace with their insecurities (hence the scene where they are dining with their "Dark" selves) saying that those days of being "Lonely, Painful, Scared, and Afraid" are gone and they want to "Raise their flags" and show it to the world. Finally, with determination "Burning like a flame" they are telling others to find their own treasure like they did and to "Call them" if they are ever in need of help along the way.
(P.S. for the hardcore theorists who actually spend time analyzing every single frame and lyric - disclaimer: I have monkey brain and this is the message I was able to decipher from memory based on what I've seen from the MVs and their lyrics, so don't flame me if I got anything wrong lol. Feel free to correct me in the replies)

I love Yeosang’s part where he’s in the desert where they “started with nothing” bc it’s referring to Pirate King which was filmed in the Sahara Desert (I think).
Edit: I remembered them saying the Sahara Desert in Weekly Idol but I looked up again and it’s a canyon in Morocco. So , not completely sure

The man is either Jongho or Mingi
In the Concept pictures and in the MV Illusion you can clearly see Jongho having both in his Hands
and in the Wonderland MV you see him going up the stairs maybe it’s a connection to the Answer MV
Mingi has the same cream colored coat on like the man and he’s holding the telescope while being on the boat

Literally just watched the MV and went straight and searched BRISxLIFE for his reaction

its simple, the theme of this song its just remind the people their beginings and how they improve. Read the lyrics and you will find out, desert(pirate king); darkness, shadows(hala hala), flags(wonderland)....etc some of the words where you can find what i told you

In my opinion The theme or the purpose of this song is that a person didn't pick up their call and they're trying to persuade this person to pick up the call "call, call, call us right now". they are just telling us as ATINY what will happen if we miss their call.
That's my opinion and the song is super calming

Ok so the story behind this is in all their other songs “say my name”, “wonderland” , “ Hala Hala” they were looking for the an answer but in some of the videos it looked as if they were looking for treasure but in this video the Message is that it wants treasure they needed to find it was there friendship and looking back how they have grown in a short time

It is about where they came from (the Desert, nothing, their beginning) to where they are now (no one can touch them) to where they are going next (when they raise their champagne glasses and cheer for their future). A MV of their progress from their debut while at the same time telling their critics they don't care anymore and that today they are a force to be reckoned with! Kpop is taking over the world of music. For a simple reason, they offer us real talents. Vocal talents, dance talents, performance talents, great visuals. No mediocrity, no average, only the best. A breath of fresh air in an industry where lately manufactured and sometimes mediocre artists have been pushed down out throats. The success of Kpop is a testament that people do recognize real talent and artistic creativity. We are not fooled and appreciate art when it is true.

As far as dance is concerned, San is savage and Yunho is brutal. The wild and feral moves are very San-esque, the heavy hits and power articulating are very Yunho, phew.

Their Darkside is them in the hats. They encounter their other side in almost every song. Apparently when their Darkside is close they start to get hot. Lake said in Hala hala. “Let’s get burning now”, or “ Hot hot So damn hot” at the end of Halle Halle they are in a fight with their alter ego, or the suicide squad, as they call them selves and Hala hala. ATEEZ already were my ult group before, but even so i always fall in love with them even more each comeback. they are one of the most unique, hardworking, talented yet humble, and different groups that i know. every time they release something, it is so different and unique, yet still so ateez.
great skill, great storyline, amazing&stable vocal and dance skills, variety talent, amazing MV. this group is not a rookie at all. 10/10.
im so overwhelmed by their comeback, but still cant get enough of it.

Bris, PLEASE STOP PAUSING THE VIDEO. This really ruins the reactions, you don't enjoy the music as much as you would as well. Somehow you also end up pausing it right before a beat drops or something important happens and you just cut off the climax, PLEASE just try and watch the video as a whole and then maybe go back to some parts at the end. Or just try and be more careful as to when you stop. I love your reactions so much but I've been noticing this a lot lately and it's just bringing the videos down a notch in my opinion.
