The dragon lizard is a representation of Jonghyun because he loves lizards. The girl with the white dress is Sulli. The girl on the plane is IU. The song and video is for her friend that passed away.

She pressed “Record” at the beginning, meaning she’s recording her memories with her friends who passed away! The lyrics also make me think that she’s saying her friends live on in her memories, that they are beautiful and forever young!

Twenty "eight" years old IU and Suga sing "eight" together.

To explain the deeper meaning of the song:
At the beginning when she entered the room and lay down on the somewhat kind of bed, is her "IU" processing her memories. In the lyrics IU was asking her friends if they were happy now? and she feel like she lost everything. They didn't have a proper goodbye that is why she wanted to travel in those good memories. She was asking them to meet her in her dreams. She said that forgetting a beautiful memory is not easy and it takes time. She promise that she will forever meet her friends in those good memories. Then the song song started which means she is staring to recall her memories with her friends who just recently passed away due to suicide. The Dragon/Lizard represents Jonghyun from Shinee and the Lady in white represents Sulli from FX.
There's this one scene where IU is looking at the lizard inside of an aquarium which means she is recalling her memories with jonghyun and then proceeds to the scene where IU is inside the airplane and saw a lizard outside the window. This scene means that IU missed jonghyun a lot, where in she, herself was asking if the lizard/jonghyun was really at the window "Is this true" and then she woke up, and immediately run to the aquarium to check if this is dream or not. She cannot believe that she saw Jonghyun in her dreams. She missed Jonghyun a lot.
The next scene is when IU goes outside the house and then sulli came out. Sulli in this video is very FREE. Free from worries, free from depressions and free from the world, she was happy and she was doing things that makes her happy. Then there's this scene where Sulli jumped and goes straight to the moon and IU shows up and she is in the middle of processing her memories with them. This scene means that she is thinking about her 2 friends. Then the story proceeds where Sulli is flying and saw Dragon/Jonghyun and then sulli fall and then hugged dragon/jonghyun.
The next scene is where IU teared up when she saw sulli and jonghyun where together. They were happy. IU is happy. Then the Dragon/Jonghyun with sulli flew right by side of the airplane where IU is riding and IU saw both of them, and the fact that she saw both them made her happy. Then she woke up and she is done processing her memories. She woke up exactly right after she saw that both of them were now happy. Then IU said "So are you happy now" "Finally happy now".
IU cannot wish more, than the happiness of her 2 friends.

IU is the artist/singer that say her expression through her song...She's not as popular as many Kgroup girl in intl world...But she is the Queen and well respected in korea...Her song is always has deep meaning....

This song dedicated to her friends ( they killed themselves because of the depression )/ Jonghyun as the lizard who became a dragon (since he loves charmander), and Sulli as the girl in white who is now soaring high with him.

the girl wearing the white dress is sulli and the gecko that turned into a big one that can fly is jonghyun. both sulli and jonghyun were iu’s friends that passed away bec of suicide. she dedicated this song for them and some of the lyrics like “are u happy now?” is a direct question to her friends if they are now happy and at peace at a better place. the sleeping iu was a stimulator wherein she can see some memories or moments with her friends thats why she cried and the animation where she cried in the plane is like a message where shes sending off both her friends in the heavens 😭
